If it's a replica, then it'll ride just about the same. Look at the Coust replicas... everyone sheeped away from them just 'cos they had a rear disk mount. Same frame, half the price. And if it's heavier, that's no big 'ting, it'll just make your arms beefier...

I love how it rides, best bike i've ever had. Its lighter than my T-rex....

I know this is an insanely old thread to bump, but can i just clear this up, my uncle sold this bike for me on ebay, it was a genuine from koxx marc caisso, it was the nicest bike ive ever ridden and i would love it back lol, probably not much chance of that now.

    Regards Vinny.

  2. if its a toilets thats not mine/mates house i have to put bog roll on the seat, to protect me from aids.

Haha ive never put bog roll on the seat, good to know im not the only one paranoid about germs lol.

    Just thought of some more...............

I cant go downstairs in the morning untill ive had a fag.

I have to have all the notes in my wallet in size order from front to back, as in £5,£10,£20.

  3. On my last bmx i ran a tektro u brake on a chrome rim with a dirty harry lever and it actually had more hold than my current hs33 on a grind!, as long as you know how to set them up their perfect.

  4. What specs do you want for the bike? Brakes? Gears? Pegs? Cranks?

IM not to bothered about brakes as long as it has a back one (preferably u brake) and it must be single speed, i hate pegs so i wont be running them, and as long as the cranks arent 1 piece i aint to fussed.

Must be able to take front suspension!

Ive been looking at the barcode 2thirds 24" bike, it looks really good imo and it looks like it can take front suspension with no probs.

    heres a link..........................

    Whats everyone think then?

  5. you can, my friend had a 24" GT bmx that he did that to, and it was nice. Only he didn't cut down the forks.

You're best buying a 24" street frame that's designed to take suspension though. That way you've got someone to turn to if it breaks.

Try an NS bitch or an NS suburban

not sure if they're 24 though!

Did the head tube snap off, or is it still going strong?

    Just out of interest.

  6. Take a look at www.ridestreet.co.uk/board

I ride park and street now rather than trials.

    Any advice just ask.

    :D

    Rich

Ok then i need some advice, can i pretty much just buy a 24" bmx and then fit some cut down forks on it or will it just bugger everything up?

Any suggestions on what 24" bmx to start with?

  7. Steve Geal? . . I think.

Thats it you legend!!!!!!!!!!, ive been racking my brains trying to remember his name.

Still cant find any pics of the bike though.

  8. Yeah i know a couple of guys with 24" mtbs with slammed forks, you can get them converted down to about 60mm.

although you can comfortably run a 24" street bike with 100-90mm forks, I'll get a couple of pics later on man.

    -Charlie-

    cheers that would be good.

  9. Basically im thinking of building up a 24" bmx with some cut-down/shortened suspension forks. I seem to remember seeing a mongoose cruiser with cut down forks being used for street and dirt, but i cant find a picture anywhere.

Basically any help would be greately appreciated.
