I would recommend either blue rock pads in cnc backings or TNN greens in cnc backings, both great performers on a harsh grind

blue rock pads in cnc backings are amazing with a medium-harsh grind, or tnn pads are also great performers !

Thanks for the comments, if i was too service the hub myself has anyone got any advice? also to do it would i need a hub tool?? ,ive searched for advice vids on youtube but they aint very clear the only decent vid has a hub tool used in it but im not sure how to go about it?
if you could help it would be Great ...cheers x

yeah i would get it serviced straight away, mine did this on the odd occasion then it just got worse untill i couldnt ride it, so i took it apart got rid of all the old thick shit grease and dried it then put some wd in there and it worked a treat also sounded liek the spring had been stretched aswell which was am bonus!
its pretty simple to do mate, just get a 2.5mm allenket i think it is and undo the silve bit on the side then clean it out liek you have never cleaned before. theres a few videos on the internet on how to do it.
but if you dont trust yourself then give it a send to tarty
hope you get it sorted mate.
yeah chears mate .......im going to send it to tartys some time this next week......
Is it new? If it is, bed it in properly and clean it. If it's second hand, send it off to tarty - they'll tell you the score and sort it out for youits second hand so its probaly best for the pro's at tartys to sort it out good and proper.....

I think its skipping. The normal(default) lube Chris King use is very rather thick. If you know what you are doing, Have it apart and clean all of it out. Then use a really thin or thinner lube. Dont run it dry, I have heard of lots of problems running dry.

yeah nice one ill probaly get it serviced from tartybikes because i wouldnt know where to start....

My girlfriend says i should spend more time with her, but if i ride her enough, she gets over it...
sounds about right with me aswell .....

ive just got king wheel a few days ago and ive noticed a slight click when i put pressure on the cranks about the same place on every turn, its hard to describe its like a slight joult ....
does anyone have any idea what the problem could be ? it hasnt been serviced in a while so this could be why but im unsure whether to ride it before i get tartys to service it or not??
cheers tom x

Battered? lol not bad nick, get the longest frame. Get a ko or a zoo.
nickx
thanks for that darling ....im seeing if eihter danny will sell his ko frame or peter sell his frame with his king back wheel........
if i dont get one of them they itll probs be the 07 thong..

entirel depends what you want from a frame....i think you should be able to narrow it down to max 3 frames..else you probably have no idea as to wahts best for you.
Eg long/short...bb height, cs length etc
yeah thanks,its a long im after ,
ive rode a ko-km1 before and i loved it but i also like the way the zoo rides,it would be one of them if i werent to get a rear disc but if i was to get a rear disc it will probs be the echo lite ,im kind of unsure whether to go disc or not...
because ive got a ciguena at the minute and it rides nice with the rear disc but it needs a changed ..its a bit batterd
-
im after a new frame and i dont really know what i want ..theres a few at the same price ,what do you think?
ko-km1
adament a3
czar full disc
echo lite
zoo pythong
gu st full disc
im thinking either adament or ko at the minute but not sure ??
cheers ,dobs

When you have got your desired tention, tighten up the non drive side axel bolt first. That way is doesnt move the hub and loosening your chain.
alrite cheers.. nice one ill make sure i do that from now on
-
just a thought .
make sure when you tighten the bols up make sure the snailcams still have pressure on them otherwise they will move and then letting the wheel slip back and move.
i have had this problem before.
alrite nice one thanks for that ill have a look tomoro..

They are great bikes to start on to get the basic moves, i had one as my first bike and upgraded everything then finally changed the frame.
