My mates tell me that due to lack of precicion being a beginner, I should forget about having a rear mech and opt for a single speed setup, since mechs will undoubtedly get caught on stuff. Considering that, it shouldn´t really matter which spacing i go for, right?

Greetings! Closing in on my 30th birthday, I´ve finally decided to give trials a go. Better late than never, right? Being a bit of an old fart, and with only two other riders in my hometown, I´m simply trying to gather as much information and experience as possible in order to buy a good first bike. I´ve come across the 24seven holroyd frame on the old ebay; sweet looks! Anyone with actual experience of riding this frame? What´s with the narrow spacing at the back? What are the pros and cons of a frame with 110mm spacing? And with 135mm? Thanks.
