  1. Loved it..! Reminds me of the old school days when i had a slalom frame with a small seat. I think the video is from 02-03 as that when that red hot chilli peppers song was released. Also hop idol oh my now that brings back some memorys i remember seeing the final at the bike show 2004. Whatever happend to hop idol?

I'm pretty sure i went to the bike show in 2004 as well, was it the one when Andy Ponting and John Shrewsbury got places on the Mad Team? Also went to Nass that year or it might have been 2005 when i first saw craig lee scott, this is when i really started to get into trials.

I'm pretty sure this was also the year when Rowan also got into MBUK for that rolling gap at Lloyds as i remember seeing his pic in the mag.

    Such a good rider B)

  2. You got a new bike yet tomo or you still rollin on that bag of shit?

Been trying to save some money without sucess to get a brand new setup, but for now im getting a frame from an old mate "KOTMS2" to get me back into riding.

Hopefully around the end of feb next year i'm looking to get a Rockman Slate but not sure yet.

I'm living in Bristol now so when your next down on a ride give me a shout and i'll come along, you still going strong ?

  3. Yeah it's all about the old skool vids!!

Does anyone have the Worcester video from way back with Sam on an Echo 20", its also got Porter in and quite a few other peeps, it is really old and i used to have it but somehow lost it.

Now that was a great vid

  4. Nice,

I think if i were to ride MOD not that i think i ever will, but if i did i'd get a Koxx Sky

Some colour coordination is need though i think, apart from that though a nice bike

    How nice does it ride?

  5. Was i correct in what i said though Mark ? I'm sure when i asked someone what there deal is with a company they said there not allowed to say or something ? or am i having dreams......:P

Alrite thats fair enough Otacon i'm only asking because im Jealous :P

Sam hasn't been sponsored by Tartybikes for a while now - he's riding for Trialtech and Rockman (amongst others) (Y)

Thanks for clearing that up Mark, was just interested thats all, Sam seems to get new bikes all the time (Y)

  6. Hey all,

All 3 Rockman Slate 2's are really nice, i particularly like the 3rd one in Silver, looks soo slick.

I was just wandering what you all thought about the Rockman ISIS as i am considering buying one as my new bike

but am not sure of how it compares to say the SpeedRace Fans 26" which costs slightly more.

Would i be better to pay a bit more money and get a Fans ?

Any comments / suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Tom

P.S. Kevin your videos from wherestheseat.com are brilliant i particularly like the latest one "Episode 8", the music

seems to really suit the videos which are really inspiring, some of the best videos seen on the forum in a long

while, keep up the good work.

  7. Haha Thanks Nick,

Not any more though got Dissertation Belly, might be moving to Bristol if i get this job so will be getting a whole new setup i think and back into trials :)

Hows things Nicko what are you up to these days ?

Hopefully go riding with you lot again at some point

  8. Um i'd love to but not many IT jobs in the Plymouth area, im off to Bristol hopefully depending on a job interview coming up :D , Bristol is sick for trials too, saying that i've really enjoyed riding Plymouth over the years

  9. Haha how wierd,

Um the uni has some good I.T facilities loads of different places to study, the main library is probably the most loudest place, there is a place called Babbage which is much quieter which ive used a lot. Smeaton has some good IT lab rooms, one of which ive used for my Cisco CCNA networking stuff in the 1st two years of my course.

The new arts building Roland Lavinsky i think thats how its spelt is pretty good for webby stuff fulls of new Macs which will probably suit you more, you living in halls for your first year ?

  10. It's got 6 treadmills, a deadlift weights area, and about 4 benches with a large weights holder with weights and stuff i only joined this year and its pretty good for the price.

If you get membership early enough it only costs £50 for the year which is pretty descent.

I've just finished uni bout a month ago studying computer systems and networks although i'm not really a nerd just something i enjoy really.

How bout you what you studying?, the uni is looking soo good by the way, been developed soo much since i started four years ago :)
