  1. Most likely, the server that hosts the site was hacked, so it probably is affecting a number of sites, not just OTN. I have two different business sites that were hacked a month ago on the same day by the same hacker. It turns out the hacker hacked the server of the company hosting my site. Hundreds of sites were affected I hear. I'm sure it's nothing against trials specifically.

  2. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Looks pretty cool man. really like it. What are the spank rims like? Look really chunky and strong.

The Spank rims are fantastic. The Stiffy is 40mm wide and is super strong and stiff. It is on the heavy side at around 690 grams. But it is one of the stiffest rims I've ever ridden. I have run my tires with really high 'street' psi and also really low 'trials' psi on this rim. It also holds a grind well, similar to a DX32. The Subrosa rim is also strong but also pretty light at 535 grams. I think its 30mm wide. The weight and width are perfect for me for a front rim.

  3. beautiful! how long does it take for marinos to get to you nowadays after ordering?

For me it took about three weeks total from ordering to delivery.

Thats interesting with the high BB, certainly something I'd consider.

Anymore in depth description to how it rides compared with a more normal geo 24?

The geometry of the bike is probably not for everyone. I'm 5'8" and the shorter wheelbase is just about perfect. I've owned a 24UK and an Inspired and the reach is just about in the middle of the two. The slightly shorter chainstay helps with bunnyhops and I don't really notice a big difference in the ease of pulling the front up. The bike feels very lively on the back wheel, more so than my previous frames. The +45bb (equal to roughly +20 on stock) took me a couple of rides to get used to. I was feeling a little too hunched over with the 2" Deity bars I originally had. But the 3" Black Market bars made all the difference.

  4. Here's my new Marino 24. I thought I'd try a short wheelbase, higher bb 24. It rides great and is just what I was hoping for. Great back wheel control but still short, spinny and hoppy.

    Geo:

    1030 wb, 380 cs, +45 bb

    Partial spec list:

    Marino frame

    Thomson stem

    Black Market 3" bars

    Eclat Complex seat/post

    Spank Stiffy rear rim

    Spank Subrosa front rim

    Yess tensioner

    Weighs about 23 lbs.

  5. I know a few guys on here have Easton EA50 stems on their bikes, but I was wondering what the overall opinion of using an EA stem on a trials bike is. I was thinking of picking up a 2008 EA70 stem with the four bolt front plate. I'm used to using Try-All or Hope, would the Easton be strong enough for trials?
