  1. Sadly a very bodged t-bird :)

    pbpic494265.jpg

Are you aware that the forks are on backwards??? Or is that why it is bodged lol .... i take it that it didnt ride asgood as it would if the forks were on the right way lol

Tell you what is bodged. the fact that it isnt quoted for some reason. my bad most likely lol

  2. Modulation - the act of modifying or adjusting according to due measure and proportion.

i.e. Effort in at the brake lever gives a noticable progressive response in braking, not just an on/off effect. :)

    Dan.

wow thats a very good way of describing it. in my oppinion there is no better way possible of describing it.

  3. that looks like a nice bike if you are going to take up dirt jumping alone. i do not think that would be very good at trials.

also i dont really like the forks and if you are going to use it for dirt jumping then it would probably be better if you had suspension forks but if you are doing trials then no suspension is th way to go.

although that is only my oppinion.

    Hope that helped

  4. yer i do mototrials

i have to bikes.... i did use my 80 gas gas untill i bought the 200 not so long ago... they are both 2005 models and the 80 was baught from new although the prevous owner o0f the 200 had it tuned by factory kev. so it goes very well.

i dont really think that there is a lack of places to ride as in my area there are quiet a few locations but i do understand that it may depend on where you live in the country and i other countries.

  5. weed doesnt cause the cancer, tobacco does.

yes it does but you normally put tabacco in the same cigerette.

it makes it taste better aparently, but i wudnt know bescause i wudnt touch the stuff. i cant even stand the smell nevermind the affects and what it does to you in the long term.

Anyways, is this not a rather poinless topic as it is barely about trials. Just about weed/cannabis is it not?

    Hope that helped

  6. If you hold it closer to the end,

    Problem solved.

Yes but if you hold it closer to the end then it is still going to be hard. The whole idea of tire leavers is to get more leverage on it (which equals to more force) so that the tire will get on/off easier.

So i think that metal tire levers wouyld be better. Just be carefull that you dont trap your innertube

    Hope that helped Oli

  7. I have an onza t-bird 2008

I payed £180 for it but.... all the other models that i could find maybe cheaper but they had all been well used. The one that i bought hasnt been used much, it had no scratches on it or anything. The lad who had it before me said that he had only riden it three times. so with this in mind i was willing to pay a little bit more as what i was goin to.

£250 is alot to spend on on though you could get alot better model for that sort of money.

It was my first trials bike as i have only just started out and i think that i have improved alot on it in the few month's that i have had it. i would recomend it but not for "250.

If i was you i would buy a better model or buy a t-bird for alot less than the £250 mark and spend the rest of your money upgrading the spec.

    Hope that helped

  8. yes i have done the pedal in the knee thing many time. it hurts so much. i cannot think of a way to protect the back of your legs, but will a shinpad on backwards work?

it may make it very hard to move your legs though lol

  9. I was just surfing on some well known trials websites when i found this:

    http://www.trialfutur.net/product_info.php...b96153933187d1f

That to me looks like quite a good website but there are some other trials websites that are better:

    www.tartybikes.co.uk

    www.trials-uk.co.uk

By the way tartybikes has exellant customer survice and very competative prices so i would recommend trying there for a part before you try anywhere else.

    Hope that helped

  10. What he is trying to say is that when a slight spelling mistake is made the whole topic gets taken away from what it is meant to be about.

All it needs is one person to say "use spell checker" and then it would be ok, but half the time the whole topic is about how the word should have been spelt and how spell checker should have beenb used over and over again.

I am not getting at everybody here as alot of the people on this forum that have been validated are very usefull and kind towards new members.

  11. yer that aint ryt m8... if i was you i would ring im up nd get to the bottom of it.

did he put it on e-bay after hsaid that he would swap?

Your lucky you found out that it is on e-bay before you sent yours off.

  12. this is just an idea thatyi have just had so i am not sure if it will work..

when you say hose do you mean braided or not?

if it isnt cudnt you heat it up with a lighter... making it soft and maleable.. and then it would fit over the bolt maybe. Then hen it cools down it will retract and become a tight fit around the bolt.

like i say i have never tried this it was just an idea.. so it may be good if some other oppionions were heard before it is tried.

    Hope that helped
