    You just sold me one of those jackets. How much are they? Waterproof? What batteries do they take? I haven't googled it but I thought I'd test you on a product your advertising haha.

    Do you actually live there? If so, I lived literally just round the corner from you until very recently, right by Clapham South tube station haha.

    Nah I don't live there. Somebody we knew let us use there house.

    Hey guys thought you might be interested in this. I was asked by a company called PROVIZ - who do loads of high viz cycling gear, to go down to London last month to make a wee edit of me riding the streets of London as if I was commuting from work. The whole thing was shot at night (between 7pm and 7 am). Rain and security guards meant I didn't get the lines I wanted but I am still reasonably happy with the outcome. I know it is Pretty Cheesey but it was a fun project to do. Anyway here it is......

    Hey, I am off to Stay In a place called Castellon near Valencia in Spain Tomorrow. I will be taking my bike so quite keen to get some riding done when I am out there. Has anyone visited or ridden this area before? If so any info on riders and/or spots would be much appreciated. Just found this link which I think is very close to Castellon. Anybody every been here?

    I've got the same bike, but I have a question:

    Is there any clearence problem with the Big Betty?

    I'm asking this because where I bought it they advised me to buy it with the Maxxis High Roller because they claimed that the Big Betty would touch the frame. The High Roller is a really tight fit and Schwable Tyres are usually much bigger than same size Maxxis Tyres.

    I have had no clearance problem with the big betty. It is a 2.4. Out of interest who was the supplier that told you that. I cant imagine any shop other than tarty who would know anything about the frame let alone the tyre clearance.

    Seeing as you have had it for a while, how are you finding the front brake? I realy fancy one of these full builds, and alter as you have with a higher stem etc.

    The front brake is actually pretty good. Performance wise, it has definitely exceeded my expectations and seems similar to a hope trial. One major drawback however is the noise it makes. It is horrific. Dragging it whilst cycling around makes a very high pitch noise and when you do gaps to fronts it is so loud it is actually hurts your ears it is that loud and high pitched. I am going to change the pads and see if that does the trick.

    Where did you get the Big Betty from?

    I got the big betty on chain reaction. I think i got the last 2 they had. they seem pretty hard to get hold of. I am not sure if they still make them in 24 anymore. I could be wrong though.

    I have been meaning to put pics of my bike up for a few months now but didn't have a decent camera till very recently. It is the standard full build spec available from Tarty, with a couple of changes - Kenda Small Block front tyre, Scwalbe big Betty rear tyre, Trialtech stem and TNN Belaey pads.

    After riding mod for years I really like how it rides. Can't really fault anything on the bike!

    Alright dunc how's things, kev told me yesterday you are getting a 04 gasser, good lad! You got a deal there then lol. I'll take the gasser down with me then. Wanting to get into the cycle trials. Been up in inverness twice since I started month and half ago. What you on Saturday, I've got afew boys coming down to kinloch sat if you fancy a day out.

    Hey gary i am not bad cheers. how are you getting on? i don't think i have seen you since one of the bike trials at fort augustus. Yeh hopefully gonna get the bike by the weekend but i need to get a tow bar sorted for the car so i can transport the thing. Looking forward to trying something new. Not sure if i will be able to get everything sorted for the weekend now but will let you know. The next time you are in inverness you should give me a shout.
