Yeah the 'magnesium alloy' threw me a little but perhaps this seller is only guilty of been an idiot and does actually have top products?
The part I find hard to believe is the free postage. Essentially the bike would cost around £470 ..... Hmmm
-
Came across this when I was looking for an Echo Pure 2011 full bike. The price is great and the postage is free apparently......I'm sceptical.
Not sure whether I'm allowed to post this on here but any help would be appreciated since it's a lot of dosh

I'm thinking they might be saloman shoes for some reason...
-
I take it you're using them?
Yes. Just recently got them along with a fresh grind .... Amazing braking power!
-
They don't hold grinds quite as well as some rims such as echo but will still be well worth doing. Stick some TNN LGM's on too if you can afford ... You won't look back

As for which way we should be sidehopping I have always gone to my left even though my left foot is my strong foot. The last few days I have been riding with other people and they seem to think that you should always hop to the opposite of your strong foot. It felt seriously strange the first few attempts but I think I'm going to stick at it. Has anyone else had this issue?

How old is the Super Pro setup?
As for the super pro; it's age is hard to say since I bought the full bike of ebay a few week back. I've decided just to stick another KMC Kool on and get on with it (I'l save the KMC Z610 for when I change to a ffw)
-
Is the chain hitting the inside of the bashring? It sounds like the chain could be too wide.
No its a smaller chain. In fact there is much more room because I use to run KMC cool chain. It's basically like trying to jump off the teeth (at the bashring end).
-
Ok so I've just fit a new 14t sprocket and KMC Z610 HX, 3/32. All connected fine but its just jumping all over the bloody place. It seems like it wont get round the middleburn super pro teeth ...........???? I'm so pissed off with it because I just want to get riding!
Any ideas ??

All of them....... genius.
I rigged up the VHS and dopeed out an ot pi dream the other month, epic.
Is it contact where Leech rites off a bike/top tube with, well, his balls.
So do you think I could get Ot Pi Dream anywhere online? I haven't seen it in so long ...

If you've had a few years off, replace the whole chain and not just the split link. I didn't, I just lubed it up and carried on. This resulted in a 7 foot gap to face...
Ouch dude! Makes me cringe just thinking about stuff like that :/
Large KMCs tend to not fit through Rohloff too great without modification.
If I was you I'd get a new KMC Z610HX chain from CRC or Tarty (bit more expensive on tarty) for £9.99 / ~£13, fit that and be done with it.
Think a new chain would be wise but I'm just not sure how strong these KMC Z610HX are compared to the larger KMC Cool?
-
I thought I was onto a bargain with the very cheap halfords foam grips. They rode really nice for about a 2 days then started to split. Think I'l go for the trialtechs tomorrow based on what carl said
-
Cheers. Think I'm gonna get rid of the split link and see how we go

Just started riding trials again after having 3 years off and I'm trying to get my confidence back up. The problem I am having is that there is a strange clicking sound coming from the chain in 1 particular spot whenever I pedal round. I know I haven't got any stiff links but I have noticed that the it seems to happen when the split link goes round the rear cog and into my single speed tensioner. Also if I stand over the bike, lift the crank up and pedal down it always make a click sound without fail every time.
I am running a single speed set up with rohloff tensioner, large kmc cool chain and splined sprocket. Any help would be appreciated .... Thank you

how come your living in leeds then?
Do you ride street then?
My parents live in Leeds and I'm all for saving a few quid
I mainly ride street but that simply because good natural spots are hard to find round here ...
I live in Leeds and im usually pretty much always up for a ride there.
And koxx kock you're the guy who pretty much lives down the road from me
Add me on Facebook both of you if you want? www.facebook.com/alexisonfire.coxy

Hi mate. I start uni at York in sept but I'm going to be living in Leeds so I'l be up for riding. I mainly ride street and at moment im on a zoo pitbull
-
Looks a really nice set up pal
-
Yeah no doubt! The riding is a lot different to how we ride nowadays but it still always gets me psyched up for a good ride
-
ah yes your right, would be nice to see them both
-
Don't know how many of you will remember 'Evolve' but it's a great trials film starring Ryan Leech and Jeff Lenosky. I actually have this on VHS but no longer own a video player so this website is great for anyone who might want to watch it again. This is a classic trials film and always gets me in the mood for riding.
If anyone knows where I might be able to get the 3rd Calculated Risk film 'Contact' post it below
Enjoy...

Great Video, The bike seems to suit you really well. Aint got a problem with the lycra because it does allow for a lot more movement but maybe a pair of shorts over the top next time

Great riding and awesome vid! The first spot you guys were at reminded me of an old video with Martyn Ashton and Martin Hawes (think it was Bi-king).
Think someone forgot their helmet that day though ...
