That's quality, looks good in black. Did you paint the seat yourself?
-
that was really smart, nailed the brief of getting creative to..

Looks sexy as, but the frame weighs 2.6kg's? Dayum son!
Yeh .. a little hefty. That was with bottom bracket but its no light weight. Need to weigh it nows its built to, but it was never going to be a feather weight I suppose.

Never heard of them.. I would send them a email asking them directly what postage is for what your after, and see how long it takes for them to get back to you and what they say... always a good indication of service.. but if your up north why not try Monster Bike ( http://www.monsterbikeshop.com/ ) or Highland Cycles? they should be able to sort you out with anything your after and also understand where places are up north to post them out.

haha, i was planning on doing the same with mine, making it into a wall ornament.. but couldnt resist the temptation to build it up and ride it.. bet it looks good on the wall though!

My 26Ghz is numbered: 013
which could be lucky.. perhaps.. lol its on the bottom of the bottom bracket. I actually only found it though when i stripped the paint of the frame to respray.
I have a Pashley 24MHz.....goes without saying that I love it.
The thing is:
It has quite a distinctive frame number.
I called Pashley to find out how many 24's were made and to be honest, they were about as unhelpful as can be. They insisted that they didn't know anything about frame numbers.
So, if anyone has a Pash, I would be grateful if you could let me know:
1 - where the frame number is.
2 - how the frame number is configured - ie number of characters and whether numbers or letters.
For example: bottom bracket 0000.
Really appreciate any responses.
Thankyou!
got any pics of your pashley? interested to see how one would be built up nowadays, as i remember them being super high bottom brackets and very short?

absolutely loving that! I am currently building up a 26ghz to, just resprayed the frame and getting parts together... how you finding those bars?
-
have you got chainspotting as well?? that was another of my old faves! quality to see sprung again.. such a classic!
-
cheers unclechrissy, just downloaded it and will get the black logo printed i think although a few years back.. possibly 5 lol, whilst still trying to get my hands on a 26 ghz i phoned pashley and manged to get hold of one of there sticker tins with a full set of 26mhz graphics and the flamming union jack headtude set like the tonges had back in the day... unfortunately wasted it on my old ride as i gave up the hunt for a ghz!

Where did you hear that from, out of interest?
through a friend of a friend who knows him so may well be a pile of shite...

apparently Danny mac is on £70,000 a year from red bull .. which is pretty decent.. and all travel is paid for plus expenses for there shoots. and thats just one of his sponsors, although probably the largest..

The frame had a kinda flip paint/diesel spill respray at some point so tried stripping it back with nitromorse to get it back to the 1998 fiesta red that I remember them being.. much harder than i thought! but getting there..

Hi
Just joined the forum today. Not a big trials rider anymore (36 with twin 4 year old boys!!). Dug out my 26mhz frame and fork a couple of days ago with the intention of selling it but got a spontaneous enthusiasm to build it up again. Its still in pretty good nick with no dings but I decided a polish wasn't good enough and decided a sand blast and powder coat would be a good idea! Anyway, the reason I'm posting is because I'm hoping I may be of some help, maybe, to somebody, somewhere?! I trawled the internet for several days looking for Pashley(.co.uk) stickers but found none, so I searched for the graphics (or a good quality picture) but again nothing. I read on a forum somewhere (maybe this one?) that Pashley weren't particularly helpful so I decided to design my own (same as the originals of coures!) using my frame decals as the guide.
I currently don't have free access to a vinyl cutter but with a background in design I have the file in the appropriate format ready to go. I'll try and attach a pic for you to see..........
If you would like a copy of the file in a .eps, .svg or .ai format for your local vinyl sticker supplier feel free to send me a message with your email and I'll ping it to you.....
Hope this helps. (ps. moderators, if i have posted this in the wrong place, please feel free to move the post to the appropriate place.)
That is quality! thanks man, very useful! just been stripping of my frame to.. so will be putting this to good use!

real nice, looks like a nice city to!

3:27-3:34... Sketchy
crazy... but pure skill too.

i just sanded the hole think using medium sand paper down to super fine, also emery cloth for inbetween the cable guides and brake mounts then use white spirt to clean it all.
using a wire wheel attachment for a drill is good to use, try and get a soft one where the bristals give way to save scratching your frame to much.
Thanks man, going to give it a bash next week... so good to know that you can get good results that way.

I had a pair on my old bike to, actually found them pretty good, like everyone says though a good set of pads makes difference to. They lasted ages to, pretty hardy things.. although I dont think i have ever 'broken' a disc brake to be honest..
-
that does look good, how did you get on stripping the paint of the frame originally? I am just about to strip my frame to (thinking the sanding down and then spray technique.. not nitromores though..) but getting in about the cable guides/brake mounts etc looks like a nightmare!
-
i don't know if it matters what the bars designed for, its what it feels like to you and how it fits into your riding style.
Also nice bike man, looks like a solid set up to me!
-
that ghetto fix looks good! nice job!
-
what about a tyres with a thicker sidewall?
-
That looks very sweet, its like bike bulimia, addictive and interesting to see how far you can push it! haha but i like it.
