  1. I have aspirations of being a travel writer, although I'm not sure as there are a thousand jobs out 'there' which I have never heard of and could be well suited for, it's a dilema.

My Ma said aslong as you get a degree it doesn't really matter what the hell it is in anyway, just proves your mind is worth a dam and you're intelligent. She went to Leeds and became a solicitor so I have alot of respect for her opinion.

Keep the info coming though people and thank you to Tomm and anzo.

  2. Right, need opinions of actual university students at Sheffield, Newcastle, DeMontfort, Birmingham and Huddersfield! And if you do either Journalism or Media/English subjects, give some feedback too as to how the course has met/not met up to your expectations. I'm swaying towards Sheffield to do Journalism because it encorporates English and Media, the subjects I am most interested in and because Sheff is a big city with hopefully, a bangin' nightlife but I'm told Newcastle is great too by my Pa. I've done the whole UCAS and the website bit and now want real people to give a view and thought the good people of TF would be able to help out. Oh, and are DeMontfort/Huddersfield small places? I'm visiting them all this week to see firsthand but it will only provide a small snippet whereas someone who's done Uni at these places will be able to offer more.

    Thank you in advance, Guy

  3. why is it the bigger and higher a ride goes the more pretentious videos become? you are very talented but I hate over-escalating something which by your own admission contains 'nothing big or special'. a 'film' is something which takes two hours to watch, not three minutes, that bugged me and these epic fades that you used, oh the mysteries of this 'film', oh. if you've read 'Catcher In The Rye', (some of you may have for school) I think Holden would have found your video 'phony'.

wow, one o'clock slight rant, sorry for being pedantic but it is what I first thought. in all it is a nice video and shows great riding, keep it up.

  4. Epic Movie - 1/10, lasted 20 minutes then switched off, utter crap however put on...

Hot Fuzz - which is very good but I felt it could have ended five times and they kept it going which was annoying so - 7/10

If anyone likes alternative films check out Oldboy and Sympathy for Mr.Vengance both by Chan-wook Park and both amazing narratives a thousand times better than anything Hollywood can produce and brilliantly acted.

  5. aye, I'm done with college now so during the week I can ride whenever, work the weekend though. PM or what not to make a ride happen and I'll happily show you around. Good to know another person is coming to ride here. You stock/mod?, what bike have you got? So if I see you out I can say hello.

    Cheers, Guy

  6. Smoking Aces - total shit, trying to do a clever intermixed narratvie and failed miserably making it far too confusing and unenjoyable, plus it was just an excuse to see how many stars a studio can shove together...2/10

  7. oh my god this better be good. seriously can't be asked to wait years to watch videos while raping my computer.

    make smaller videos, please!

EDIT: amazingly smooth and riding huge, so much love for that, but I couldn't watch it again and don't like videos without the bike sounds. Tata

  8. Yes I could wait and find out for myself but I want to put all my bits on when I get the frame and it be perfect so I ask...will I need a booster on a new Monty 221PR? My friend runs an RB booster and his brake is solid but I just want others peoples comments.

Oh and are there are boosters I shouldn't get due to not fitting properly, all information is appreciated greatly.

    Cheers, Guy

  9. there is such a pandemic of excellent street riders out there at the moment it is hard to differenciate between who is good and who is great. after watching this I went for a super duper ride on the bmx and dialled in some 360's which I was happy with. ta for posting, oh and check out there other videos on TUBE, soooo good.
