  1. If this problem isn't alredy sorted, You should use Coke/Pepsi I read it in MBUK and tried it and it does work - I personally haven't tried this but my mate had loose grips and put pepsi on the bars and inside of the grips. He then put the grips on and left them over night to dry and in the morning they were stuck tight. If you want to get your grips off again, Just get a thin screwdriver, dip it in a glass of water and slide it under the grip and turn it around the handlebar. This loosens all grips. Good luck! (:

  2. Alot of people now seem to like to keep 90% of there bike and simply when they feel the need for a change simply get a different frame. But this could be a problem for starter people who are looking at the frame to start with? I was wondering how much you think it would cost to build a frame up to "rideable standard" and of course to the best possible! :P Thanks (:

  3. It's nice to see a local trials rider (: If you go to Doncaster centre near the skate park there's a place we got built for trials and BMX which is great for some practice (Y) would love to see more people around there in the week! Love all the above designs and make sure it's made known if you do get it! If you talk to the local council nicely and show them what it could do they are happy to help in most places. We are currently trying to get one in Wickersley (Rotherham) and at the minute the council are being more helpful than we expected! A few solid ideas and some sweet talking seems to go a long way with these people (: Good luck!

  4. Although I know Magura's are supposibly better I would still go for the V-Brakes but i'm not too sure why, I think Magura's are a little TOO good if that makes sence? I prefer abit of roll but I think it's the fear of going over the bars (: It's all down to personal preferance i think ;)

  5. I think the idea of the "post your kitchen pictures" is great ^_^ i like the hint aswell (; i would love to reply to that if i get validated too (; Also off the kitchens topic it's a very nice bike and looks cool! A friend bought one a few days ago and rides nice :)

  6. I agree with the comment made on the site; " if this was a man we'd be calling for a long term prison sentence" i agree completely, not meaning to be sexist in anyway! :) I would hate for that, I've got a few scars but she's made her mark forever :/ Deserves punishment to be honest! (:

  7. Of course a balance between the two is always good but in my oppinion they both come with practice, you get the technique from the riding but without the technique it can be hard to be strong enough to get power if that makes sence (: You practice and you get both so I think this depends on what you want to try or how good you are to start with :)

  8. Hello all, Since alot of threads seem to be on the wonderful topic of snow at the minute i thought for the brave people who faught the cold and went for a ride, did you have an accident? I must admit it was slippy and i did fall on countless occasions; im sure someone can get worse than that? Post your replys and maybe a picture or 2? (:

  9. Still a fair bit of snow in Rotherham good to know. It doesn't seem to be going (: supposibly we should be getting more? *excited face* managed to get two days off school which is always good how about the rest of you?

  10. Onza are probably the best starter bikes in my opinion. (Y)

I had an Onza T-Bird and they are really good to learn the basics on.

What wheel size were you looking for?

    Dan.

Probably Mod size to start with? ive bin looking at the Onza Rip 2009? think its decent for a starter bike? Thanks

  11. Hello im Jack, 13 years old from Rotherham,

I currently don't own a trials bike but hope too soon. Ive bin biking for around 6 years starting with BMX and then mountain biking up untill now but after seeing some youtube videos i hope to get into trials. Ive been riding a 26" hardtail mountainbike for the last year and got better and now hope to put my new learnt tricks into trials :) hope to see you all on the forums soon!

  12. yeah haha but that is one problem with making the jumps cos you do all the hard work and then akll the chaves with their shitty bikes ruining the lips cos they cant jump that far then kicking them in cos were better than them

    Matt

Im glad ive found a forum that people understand :) to be honest if they cant do it why bother? pissed me off to be honest we spent 8hrs on a jump came back next day and chavs were there and it was like 2ft smaller :( at 1 point people were backflipin it and now u cant even tabletop easy :)

  13. You will always have that problems but usualy county parks if theres large woods they usualy dont mind a few jumps but if not politley write to the council and they might give you permission like they did at my local woods

    Matt

We tryed that :) wrote to council but they said no :L i suppose some times it jus happens :) jus gotta look for the rite places and now it seems ok :) found natural jumps instead of makin 7feet gaps in the floor :)
