  1. I just put elixirs on my acoustic, they are the brightest strings i've ever used! so loud aswell.Well worth the extra cash.I normally use d'addario exps though.

On my electric though,i've got dunlops at the moment, which are great, but i'd reccomend DR strings.

Hope that helps a little  there are so many out there! just a bit of trial and error really

  2. just get a quote from tarty bike then a simple list of parts and prices (Y) send that to them then

I aksed tarty and a few others, he said he wont give me a qoute since i cant prove to him i had the parts. But i have already proved to the insurance company that i have them. As they have them listed on a stystem there. JUst need these qoutes of the up to date prices. No one seems willing to do it

    Cheers

  3. Nah that won't work, hardly any companies keep records of stuff they've sold (or, if they do, they never seem to want to give them out). As you say, the best bet is to get a quote from a shop as you were asked (Y) Maybe ask Tarty if he'll do it for you, provided that you buy the new bike from him or something.

IM not sure if the company are giving me the money for the new bike, or sorting the new bike out for me. No one seems willing to help me out because i ant got the proof to give them. Altho the insurance company have the proof, else they wunt be paying out, right?

    Cheers

  4. The other day my coustellier was stolen form my shed. Which i was tres pissed off about. Luckily i have independant insurance just for it. This means i can get a new bike, or money to the value of it. The insurance company have asked me to list the spec of the bike and send it to bike companies so they can quote for the price of a new one. The insurance will then match this price so i can rebuy and rebuild. The problem is that no one seems to be able to do it for me, since the parts all came from different shops.

    Can anyone help me out???

    Cheers
