you should think about investing in a new bar/ stem combo as stock onza ones are usually the heaviest, especially the bars.

Neither, just think of what you are actually getting for your money. NOT ALOT. You should spend your money on a decent second hand bike such as an 07 gu typhoon for £375 with drilled rims tensile cranks etc... huthum cough cough.

Hi there, i'm mainly into pit bikes and had to replace my tank a while back for a carbon one, any way, the one i bought didnt fit because i had a cradle sdg frame and the tank was for a completly different style pit bike. So i think its worth checking with the guys on here www.pitbikeclub.co.uk people on here ride mx too so you'll definatley find your answer there.

my next door neighbour (Farmer Bryan) Gave me a tin of tar which i think your supposed to paint onto stuff and then use it as like a glue when laying floors / roofs. It's in like a big tin and is pretty runny and you have to smudge it onto the rims. It gets annoying after a while because it makes your fingers proper sticky. I think i must have the same sort of stuff youve got mate. What about sticking it in a freezer?

I saw a vid on youtube where some guy actually snaps out his bb shell, it literally splits straight in two. I think it was a saracen M.A.D or something. And he only drops of the equivilent of like 10 pallets.

i popped the hose on some lads dabomb and about two mins later, knackered the rear hub on another lads base. worst thing ive done to my bike is probs a snake bite! lol

why not try a zoo python or a gu typhoon (mod)

what frame are you running at the moment?

I know that the rule is no buying or selling in nmc but i cant exactly post it in the wanted section if I'm not validated which seems to be taking for ever. I am looking for a decent used mod frame for around 100 posted. sorry for posting in nmc but you can always just validate me and move it to the wanted section. I saw someone get validated after one post before.

theres been quite some talk of this gorrila glue so i think i'l look into that.

ok, from the begining, i bought the frame off ebay by itself for £60 inc p&p. i bought a bb from cowleys in northallerton, had it fitted at milgate motors in thirsk only it just slid in and out even with granville threadlock. So i built it up with some spares and had a threadless bb put in. I sold it to a mate (frame with bb/t mag wheels/onza stem n bars n forks/ and a headset) all for £70. So i doubt he will spend 80 on repairing it. The bb was working fine but he had a habbit of bashing his cranks off with a mallet to get the chain off as it was too tight.This knackered the bb. So he is currently borrowing bum chins monty 221 x-lite 03. i thought about getting it italian threaded but i dont think he would be able to run a front freewheel. So in conclusion, does anyone know of the best/cheapest method of sorting out this shagged bb shell. i.e. which will be the strongest glue or will we need to mix?

Im petty sure that chemical metal (plastic padding) would hold it. And a bit of touch up paint to disguise it couldnt do any harm.

Even if you are pretty crap compared to the more advanced riders on here, can you still enter. If so can i play. But as i cant barley sidehop i like the sound of that idea of finding a good line and riding it.

i read on this forum somewhere that you can meand a bb shell by glueing the bb in with some special glue. Please can somone inform me of which glue it is as i sold a t pro frame to my mate with a threadless bb but that has packed up. Then i read about the glue it in idea and that sounded pretty feasable but now i cant find it.

I desperatley need to get hold of a new stem and bar combination as the standard ones on my zona are really making the bike sluggish. I already lightened the front end with some zona zedd forks to make it easier to sidehop etc but the bars and stem are rediculous. Together they way nearly the same as the bike itself. I had some riser bars and a kalloy stem on for a few days which really made things easier but the stem was really short. Does any body have any ideas on which will be the best bar and stem combo for a long wheel base mod bike. Preferably riser bars.?
