  2. Have you crossthreaded it?

If not and it is all straight, carefully and without much pressure at all slow/slightly pedal. See if it threads on anymore.

Its not cross threaded. I have tightened it up untill it stops but have tightened it just incase i need to get it off and theres a 2mm gap between the fw and crank arm, will this just close up or will i not. Does it need a spacer or washer or anything.

  3. - Freewheel may have not been tightened all the way on

    - gap for a bashring

Yer i took my bash ring off as i didnt like it and didnt need it.

Also i havent tightened it right up as if i do and theres still a gap i wont be able to get it off again to sort it out.

  4. Hi, i bought a new eno freewheel for the front, went to put it on and theres a gap between the freewheel and the crank arm and i can see the thread where it twists on. Not sure if this is ment to be like that or not. Is there some sort of washer or spacer to go inbetween.

    Need a quick reply please.

    Regards James

  5. hey, yer i agree that you should get new stem bars and forks as they let the bike down but also the wheels. It looks like you've bought an onza pro and then got a new frame. The old parts let the bike down .

  6. You can get replacement shells from aspire velotech :)

Send it off to tarty and get them to strip and rebuild it, alternatively you might be able to strip it without the special tool.

Speak to jonmack as I believe he has done what youre looking to do.

    edit:

He wants a disk mount bmx king ;)

    Yes thats what i want.

So do i buy a bmx king and then buy the shell on this link http://www.aspirevelotech.com/Merchant2/me...BSHELLS_ISO_R32 and then get the shells swapped over.

Is that right, and then that will fit my 20".

  7. Its only the frame and cranks which are onza parts, the rest is custom, i want a rear king and then at the same time i will change the cranks to fixed. The frame is good, its the 4th lightest on tarty.

  8. Im thinking of getting a rear freehub, i want a Chris King hub but want it to be disc, i dont realy have a problem with the price.

I was told that i could do this:

If you have no problems with the amount of money then you should get a King!

and then buy an ISO disc hub shell for it and get the internals changed over

Then you have a Amazing hub with a 10 year warrantee and also you can buy everything you need for a King from Tarty

I really like the sound of that, but where do you get the iso disc shell from?, is it a king shell and will any bike shop change it over?

I have an Onza blade Mod, if i got this would it fit my frame?

Where do i get the parts from and how much roughly will this cost?

    cheers james

  9. I have a tensile and thats what me and my mate and loads of other people have broke. They only have 20 engagement points. Im never getting one of them again. Mine is all mangled up inside, there S**T. I will take a picture of the inside once i get it off and show you how bad it is. Another thing is tensiles are insane to get of the crank arm, ive only had mine 4 months and it broke and now we can't get it off as its so tight.

NEVER TRUST A TENSILE, THERE RUBBISH.

    James

  10. hey man, i think that you should just get a booster for the bike you got and maybe think about going duel disc in the long term as this costs alot and your only learning.

If not just stick with your T-bird while you are learning and then get new parts as you progress.

Although the blade it the forth lightest frame on tarty and has both disc and maggura mounts, so that could be a good idea if you have to money to do so. You'd need a new rear disc hub or disc wheel though if you wanted to go disc.

  11. Hey, im liking the sound of that, where do you get the iso disc hub shell from and how much would that cost with the iso disc hub shell?

Does that fit a mod, ive got an onza blade?

    James

  12. Hi ive got the same problem, ive got a tensile and it skipped, untill it exploded the other day. And now it wont come off the crank arm so im stuck with a broken, mashed up freewheel. I had a look inside and it was destroyed. My mates one did the same, he re-sharpened his and it now doing it again. Also i know other peopl which have had problems with tensiles. I wound not recommend one. Im maybe going to get an echo sl freewheel and so how that lasts.

    James

  13. Hi

Me and my mate have just broke are tensile freewheels, mine only lasted 3 months.

I need another but dont know what to get. I do alot of gaps and put alot of stress on it so need a strong decent one.

What one would you recomend to be a realy strong and maybe indestructible?

Or are free hubs any better? Need a disc one if i get one. Whats the best free hub to get thats disc?

Again i want a decent strong one!

Not fused how much they are just need a rally good strong one!

    Cheers James
