McInnes.
I agree with Mcinnes , I really liked the vid
drop was huge at the start,
The sideys are getting pretty big now,
You should go bigger
Enjoyed watching the video, good riding and a great song

Yeah I am and the brake setup works well Actually one of the best back brakes I have used with zoo pads to be honest. Its loud and holds well! If its dry
I got to admit the back brake does work well ( If its dry ), even though it is badly set up
Still look's a little bit better now that it is drilled, it must be super light now
I do like the hose routing going through the frame

Awesome video, beautifully shot, I was in awe!
Agreed it is an awesome video and very well shot
Its been said before, now the music business know about danny

the bails were funny, no offence , Keep up the riding

I use Try-all Croco pads and I find them to be really good. Some people might say get the Rock pads, but I havn't used them yet so I can't say how good they are.
Some where on the fourm there is a pad review so you can get a full review on the pads.
DMC.
I agree Try-all Croco pads are really good on a grind.
But if you want good pads for smooth rim I found that Zoo pads and Heatsink Yellows and Heatsink Snowys are really good on smooth. They all give good bite and all hold really well with tar .

Yeah sorry about that double post
didnt mean to do that guys

+1. I thought Gilles bars look a little forward on his current stock but that is just plain ridiculous
Yeah I know what you mean by the bars rolled a bit forward.
I guess I just got used to the way they felt like that.
But I think I will roll them forward a fair bit now
bars look waaaay too far forward, but its your choiceYeah the bars are a fair bit rolled forward if im honest.
But I think I just got used to the way they feel like that.
I quite like them like that though but I think im going to roll them back a bit now
Thanks for the comments guys

Try original Ipod headphones. They are really good unless you look after that rubber ring that keeps the headphone in your ear.
I agree there. The original Ipod earphones are really good and last a long time aswell.
But JCV gummy earphones are also really good.
-
His personal preferance.
I like it.
Thanks
yeah the brakes and bars are a bitty forward but I guess im jst used to it being like that and to be honest I quite like it
Thanks for all the comments guys

But I guess I just got used to it and personally I quite like them like that.
Do you think I should roll them back a bit?

Thats a good vid there mate
Keep up the riding
Also try and link up the rocks and make a little line but apart from that it was a good vid and your bike looks nice too
Keep up the riding

yeh sick bike lovein the back wheel nice frame too.
Thanks for the comment
I like the way that the frame is shaped
and also it is quite short aswell (995mm it be honest)
Thanks

Yer, I enjoy doing all the maintenance on my bike so it's no issue and, as you say, I'll also know that the brake is in as good a condition as it can be.
Yeah so do I. I enjoy doing all the maintenance on my bike aswell. That way I know that it is in good condition afterwards
Yeah that way it will be in good working condition atferwards

I've never had a problem with it, I split one crossover because I stood on it.
I don't like braided hoses, they make the brake lever heavier to pull in my experience.
Yeah I agree
Ive not had a problem with the actual hose its self like for example, it spliting or anything like that, but it did pull out of the lever one time
Also ive had no major problem with the cross over except from catching my foot on it.
And personally I dont like braided hoses either because of the same reason as yourself
Thanks
-
Yep, I'm probably going to replace the seals, oil and pads, maybe service the lever too. That way i know the brakes are operating as best as they can. It looks straight forwards enough if you're careful and the seals are very reasonably priced. I won't be doing it for a couple of weeks yet though, waiting to get some money through. I'll let you know how it goes though.
Thanks for your time
Adam
Yeah that sounds like a good idea
That way you will know that it will be in good working condition after you done all that to the brake
Personally I think Hope Mono Mini brake sare good for there money and last a fairly long time
But you do need to look after them quite well but thats no bother

I've never had problems with the magura plastic hosing. I've found it to be very strong. The only issue's I've seen with hoses breaking is when someone has fallen off their bike, and the bars have spun round once or twice, then when the rider has picked the bike up they have turned the bars the wrong way round, and because of the force have pulled the hose out of the lever.
I agree with that aswell.
When the bars get turned around the wrong way, the force just pulls out the hose from the lever.
Thats happened a couple of times to me and its no problem sorting it.
To be hones its quite easy
But the standerd hoses on the magura is quite good and strong and does the job

Thats a hard choice there mate.
Monty's are really nice riding bikes for both street and natural riding but they are more for natural and competition rather than street.
If you land on the frame they tend to dent more easily and are made from a lighter material the make them light and easy to throw around. They are also quite short aswell.
I know two people who ride monty 221 pr's and they both are cracked atfer a short while of riding (A year and a Half) and my other mate cracked his in 3 places ( After 2 years of riding the Monty) and I also know some one else who had a Monty 221 Ti but snapped it .
I also know two other people who have both had GU TP 08's and they both were very nice to ride street on. But they are much stronger and heavier than the monty's and are a fair bit longer than the Monty's aswell. But one of my mates cracked his GU TP 08 5 months atfer getting it but he is a really good rider at that .
In my opinion I would go for the Monty 221 Pr. Even though I said all of that about the Monty's but they are shorter and much easier to throw around.
But If you do want a strong frame and rather street I would go for the GU TP 08. And they also look really nice with coloured rims
But personally I would rather have the Monty.
It will be a hard choice between those two frames but thats just a little bit of help on picking .
Thanks Darren

The frame was really nice to rid it was a short one, I'm hopefully getting an adamant or a gu stock frame
yeah I thought that it would of been a bitty short if im honest.
Wow now I personally think that the adamand frame would be really nice
but thats just my opinion.
Its up to you lol
But it would be hard to choose between the two frames
-
Really nice bike you got there! :$
I agree with Hunter
That is a really nice bike you got there mate
Looks nice
How does it ride?
You got your self quite a nice spec there
