Don't forget. It takes a lot of time to get higher but there are certain days where you get better at an instant because you accidentally do something right. I had this a while ago when I suddenly jumped a pallet higher on my side hops.
And yes, take videos of yourself and ask as many questions as you like. There are tons of cool lads on here willing to help you.
Yeah I have been riding for a few years now, and just not progressed very much.
Its funny that you commented on this, because I was just reading the sidehop technique post you made :L, hopefully I will learn sidehops soon.

Wow thanks for all that! I will work on that this weekend hopefully and report back. Seriously thank you for taking the time to explain and write all of that. Hopefully I will get a video of practice sometime soon.

This probably will sound super stupid, but how do I get more height in a pedal kick? I can get up two pallets easy, three is doable just about. I'm doing pedal kicks from stationary. On a 20 and 26 bike, any help would be mega appreciated.

I wouldn't say i was good. How often do you ride?
Your probably better than me, in summer I ride around every day, never ride during winter, or during exams.

I have been using a pair of DMR Moto RTs for like three years now, and they havent let me down. They were £15 a tyre when I got them and they are good on the dry and wet!!

I don't but i wouldn't mind a ride in Crawley. I can probably get a few others to ride too.
Awesome it will be nice to learn from someone else better than me :L (I'm really bad)

Hi guys summer is coming and I wanted to ride again, who rides trials in Crawley, I want someone to practice with and progress!!
-
I remember trying to ride in full length jeans once and found it impossible because they kept coming down or I couldn't move very much. I ride in 3/4 length jeans so they are nice and loose and easy to move in, all summer I'll ride in 3/4 lengths admittedly my shins don't love me for it but oh well.

Ok so I started this in 2009 I haven't been on this forum since then :L ok so I still ride trials and this whole post is shocking I have been the only one for years and this year a friend of mine started to trials a little bit.
Anyway in Crawley this year I rode at the skate park in august like every morning, normally i ride in town or at the shops and things like that. I don't ride in winter so I'll probably be out again after April I have uni so its kinda hard to ride as much. If you're ever in Crawley ask about the white trials bike or the trials rider with a beard ;L or just send me a private message. I ride everyday in the summer holidays, it would be amazing to have more people to just casual ride. Don't worry I'm still rubbish on a trials bike.
Just so you know there are not many good spots to ride in Crawley I just ride around and if I see anything I may try it maybe.

i was looking at a Zona Zenith frame and i really liked the look of it as i wanted to get back into trials and i was wondering if it would be a good frame and whats the geometry, and would it be good to ride because i used to ride 26 and now i'm mainly bmx etc
so what do you guys reckon of it? how much is the frame worth if its like new condition? and would it be good to ride for me?

This video should help you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHWAgkE2JdQ
Nobody can give you more tips than ryan does in this video. I've learned the bwh like '0:40' in video (without the fist part... wasn't working for me).
yes i know he is awsome i always watch the videos thanks for the help.
edit: and make sure your rear brake is working good, before trying it.
i found that site to but i think its very good thanks

dont over inflate them because i know i did and i went over a little hill and they litraly exploded and if you under inflate when you jump you hit your rim and stuff and it also depends on what your riding i pump them solid and then let out like loads of air jump befre you see them go flat from the bikes own weight.
-
Right a have recently started trials and i used to bmx for a year, I can bunny hop wheelie endo jump off stuff Ii can kinda get up small things using the brake lol but i can't hop on the rear wheel and it's really anoying because i dont like to not be able to do things lol I need help in how to do them.
what would be a good wheels to use on back and front on a 26 inch frame with drop off 2005 on front, i want to use Echo SL rims and chis king hubs or hope pro 2 but i dont want to spend a fortune. and i can buckle wheels really easily I buckled my 20inch proper wheel on my bmx and it was a double wall and not many people can buckle them aparently lol.
