I have had an old set of 24/7 bmx cranks that had reverse threads. But no other cranks i have had. So don't knows if any other cranks have had them. Or just them.

i got my work bike. and old titanium raleigh for £50 off a mate. with a set of bmx cranks fitted and an avide juciy 7 as well. made it ss. new stem and bars. put new cranks on. one rear v. its ace. all for about £75 ish.

i have an old onza zoot. and i run 24 inch wheels on it. with a 22t ring and a 12 cog on the rear. nice and hard. but may try a 14t on it. if you dont want to ride trials on it. more street and get about. any thing over 18t is good i find.

right if its on a mtb with gears. you can do it by. 1 removing 3 cogs. you can remove the small ones or the largest ones. if you remove the big ones. you then have to slide the rest over so you have a space at the end of the hub. you then need to find a ss spacer that fits the gap. so you can still get it nice and tight. and set the gears so it pulls the chain over the spacer. so when you are going back. it just spins on the spacer and wont engage the hub.
if its not. then you are going to have to remove the chain and learn it that way. or just learn to pedal backwards

2009 has been a bit shit. my parents split up start of the year. not fun. still in a job i cant stand doing. but don't know what i want to do. f**ked my knee and foot up. so that was 2 months of the bikes. got f**ked over by sum one i liked. good bits are download. was f**king ace times. thats about it. the rest was shit. going to see Nile in 1 week. so a good end to a bad year. let 2010 be the year it all starts to work.

i don't get a lot of sleep but i do dream almost every night. a lot of the time it is very nasty stuff. like the living dead. killing people. or me getting riped apart. burnt or killed. i have seen myself be killed in a dream to. not so nice. i also get a lot of dreams where i wake up in one to be dreaming still. one last week did that 4 times in one dream. so so so odd that one. i get one ones where you are sort of awake so can see sum thing coming for you. but cant move or do anything. not so fun. i remember one from a long time ago. was in my room late at night. and the floor was on fire but burning the wrong way up. there was a load of people in the living room. but did not do anything about it. id not say any are nightmares as i don't find then disturbing. I'm just odd.

Right then. What rim and hub is it. What was the wheel before you pulled it apart. Was it 4 cross or 3 cross. or was it one side 3 cross and one side strait pull. as they all need different length spokes to get it right. you cant put 3 cross spokes in to 4 cross. or 4 cross in to 3 cross. sorting wheels the first time or two is very hard. there are web sites that will help a lot. if you cant do it. its best to find a mate or lbs that can. you don't want to be riding a wheel that is not nice and strong. hope this helps.

so £180 no way in hell. you just have to keep looking and you will find sumthing worth gerting. good luck.

Have done a load of tyres this way. Pop on the rear and pump up hard. put bike upside down. Pedal at a steady pace. And just run this over them. My ones have all ways come out almost perfect. Only problem is when doing a mod front tyre. As you can't put it on the rear. Apart from that.it's the way I have done them and will again.
