Anyone know what the highest recorded side hop is? Or the highest you know.
Thanks

I fail to see how people can't think of their own colour schemes.
BLACK and any colour
WHITE and any colour
SILVER and any colour
ANY COLOUR and black
ANY COLOUR and white
ANY COLOUR and silver
There's six for you. Please don't tell me you need help figuring out what colour ANY COLOUR should be. Also don't tell me you're putting other people's opinions over your own for colour choice.
Well... technically thats only 3 choices, but I see what your getting at.
-
Are you choosing your pads cos of the colour?
No, the Echo pads come in 5 different colours, one being blue. But they are all the same compound.
-
yeah very nice, isnt the frame white though?
White or silver, you can choose.
Tell me your nto choising a colour over some really good pads? What?
-
Thats quite a story, very unlucky man, but its great that you have your bike now. Enjoy
-
Im busy with with a new bike with Tarty Bikes and am thinking of a silver frame (Echo Lite '09) and having blue grips, bashplate, brake pads, pedals and rims.
What do you guys think?
-
why should i limit myself too rideing my bike like a pogo stick?
^ That = Truth
-
Why is no one uploading pictures?!?!
It's pointless telling us about it, we need to see it to believe it!

So, judging from what has been said here, getting the Echo Urban rim (19" / 20") for my Onza Blade would be a good idea?
-
Measure the width of the slot the rim tape goes into in the rim and get tape with as close a width as possible to this.
I don't have the bike yet.
-
I want to buy some rim tape for an Onza Blade, but am confused with the different sizes. 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 42mm.
Which one would fit the Onza Blade standard rims?
-
Hey, I ride a 1.2 and there pretty good. Not for beginners though, but if you know what to do on a bike it's definitely a good bike for the money.
-
Ok... that's nice
Enjoy your purchases. I think.
Lol!

I'm not to keen on foam, but I see a lot of riders use them, so it must be good. I'll give it a go, thanks.
Here is what I have now on my list:
Onza Blade
TrialTech Foam Grips - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=132
DMR V8 Pedals - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=23
Rockman 7046 Riser Handlebars - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=138
Can you guys recommend a good stem for my bike, not too expensive, but not a cheapy one I can throw away after a few days.
-
"Onza cromo stem and 'flat' trials handlebar."
That is what it says in the description, so don't know if it is oversized, it's just the standard stem. Would the stem need upgrading too?
I'm also looking at grips, because on the picture the standard grips look really bad. This look good?

I'm probably getting an Onza Blade soon and wanted to know if this is a good upgrade of handlebars.
If not, can you give a link (from Tarty) to a better one, but not more expensive please.
Thanks

What's the difference between a 20" and a 19" back wheel?
Think of it like having two front tires, one in front and on at the back. If you compare the pictures of the Rip with another 19" wheel, you can see that the 19" looks way stronger, with a fatter tire.
-
He is awesome...
But, 3:12, WTF? Is that even possible? What about the brake cables?
-
Aye, the Blade reference threw me
Well it turns out by the time I get that bike and try it out and send it back, I won't be able to get my money back, and from the pics it seems there's a hole in the frame, a crack or split or whatevs, I dunno, but some sort of gaping void which shouldn't be there
My mate, cousin actually, who is a specialist in a bike shop AND did trials for two years says a Bird is good to learn on, it's what his friend had too. It seems I'm just gonna have to splurge it on a Bird then
Yeah I wouldn't take the Rip simply because it has that 20" back wheel. Go for the bird

Let the air out of your tube.
Remove the tyre/tube.
Remove the rim tape that is already wrapped around the rim, if the rim is drilled poke your finger through one of the holes to help you grab hold of the rim tape. If not use a screwdriver to get it out.
If using electrical tape/gaffa tape/masking tape etc. Put one layer of the tape sticky side UP around the entire rim so it meets and sticks back on itself.
Next put 2/3 layers of the tape with the sticky side DOWN around the entire rim so that it sticks to the original layer of tape.
Use a screwdriver or scissors (get your parents to do this if you're a youngun) to poke a hole through the tape where the valve hole is.
Put the tyre/tube back on.
Thanks

That's the one. They dropped the T because they no longer felt the need to reinforce the fact Onza is a trials brand.
Sorry what? I heard the T-Pro is the older model, with a seat. The Pro is the 2009 model, with no seat.
It's a fair bit better than a rip or blade.I'm pretty sure you mean better than the Rip or BIRD, not BLADE.

Thanks, im trying to improve my body and skill so much at the moment im out 11:00 am tell about 9:30 pm doing trials everyday with about hour for lunch and dinner
Age 14... you don't go to school?
-
Stop laughing please
But if you look at the rim of the Onza Balde, it has those circles between those long metal things which connect it to the middle part of the wheel. (Don't know the technical names) how do you get around all that.
Sorry if these are stupid questions!!!

Yeah, I want blue but haven't found that, so I'll settle for red or green, but I guess it's a bad idea then...
If I got electrical tape, or any kind of tape, how would you go about putting it on?

Is this from two wheels to two wheels? Or first onto the front wheel and then jump?
