    Here we are again, Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat. And I am getting slightly panicky because I haven't organised a thing. There are people in my office who I have heard smugly declaring they have 'everything ready'

    I wouldnt spend too much money on a second bike. Just incase you dont like the sport and change you mind.

    However buying a better bike earlier on will help you to learn faster, thats what I think anyway, I started out on a koxx levelboss mod (which I still have) and believe I progressed quite fast.

    Was a great gig. Missed the guard being a dick though because I got sholdered in the face and had to go sit down so i didnt pass out. Besides that, it ruled though, less than jake were quality and rally funny guys, and The Living End were amazing as well.

    Ahh, so thats why you went off, I didnt really know what was going on, I thought you were dehydrated or someting :S

    i feel a 'see who can build a bike the fastest' comp coming one.

    oh, and for future reference, Put the crown race on the steerer, grease it up good and proper, then get an old stem out and remove the clamp bolts, then slide it all the way down onto the crown race and hit it, (hit, rotate 90 degrees, hit, rotate 90 degrees etc).

    hey presto, you got your crown race on in 10 seconds without damaging anything (except your old stem).

    I just build up my bike, then use the headlock to push my crown race on. (perfectly evenly)
