  1. I payed using paypal, to order you've got to put the parts you want in a list in an email and the guy will tell you what total and postage will be , the only reason I bought stuff from Canada (I was slightly skeptical) was because of the crazy low prices , but to benefit from the lower prices you need to buy a deesent amount for example .

08 ZHI riserbar, I was going to buy them but there is a minimum shipping cost of around 35 CAD so on a set of bars that are only 12 CAD it wasn't really realistic for me to buy them . >_<

But as far as buying bulk goes , I got the stuff for my ZOO LYNX build at a fraction of the price (even with postage) of buying stuff from the UK, So if you're only needing small parts it might be smart to buy stuff with your mates so that there's a big enough order to justify the minimum postage cost.

The postage for my frame, forks and everything I mentioned in my first message was about £70 but since I ordered alot and the prices were a fraction of the price over here, even with £70 postage I still saved a load on my build :D

    Cheers ^_^

  2. Hey , I bought a load of stuff off of this shop .

I bought my ZOO LYNX frame , forks, BB , brake booster ,cranks ,bashplate and sprockets .

The guy that runs the shop is a really genuine, nice guy .In my experience the communication throughout was excellent.

Due to the exchange rate at the time my LYNX frame worked out at around £70 brand new :P

Obviously since the shop is in Canada it only makes sence to buy a decent amount of parts due to the minimum postage fee for shipping to the UK . So it wouldn't be much use if you just wanted a headset for example.

Delivery wize the frame and parts were well packaged so made the journey from Canada safe and sound :D

    Cheers :turned:

  3. Hello Trials-Forum Members,

I brought a pair of Sixsixone gloves in May this year and they were perfect for 2 Months but since then they are starting to give my Blisters on my Palm and side of my Thumb when riding,

So now I need to get a new pair and I am wondering what people would Recomend . ? :santa:

Hi mate , I'd recommend these hebo team trial gloves from Tartybikes :turned:

    http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=39

I've had them for a while now (about 7-8 months) and they are great I my opinion , they are really thin and grippy and I 've never had a blister whilst wearing these .

They don't look very durable at a first glance but I have used them for biketrials and mototrials and and they hold up great and are super comfy giving you plenty of feel for brakes etc.

Also if you buy 1 size smaller than your usual glove size (tartybikes advice) they fit really well .

    Cheers :)

  4. I'd say They are needed to the BB bolt question, When i had my Echo internal i lost one of the washers and the cranks were constantly coming loose on me, might be different on the Tr though I'm not sure.

To the collar question, Have you phoned tarty? Maybe send Deng an E-mail aswell (Y)

Thanks Adam :turned: , I've emailed tartybikes (but will phone tomorrow as they have a large backlog of emails ) and will email Deng now .

    Cheers :D

  5. Hey , I had the same problem .

I took the crank to my local bike shop and they couldn't manage to get the sprocket off , so I wrapped the sprocket in an old chain and gripped the chain in the vice with a nail through one of the links to stop the chain pulling out of the vice as I turned the crank with a large pipe over it for leverage. Like they mention in the wiki :turned:

Yes this technique will probably damage the chain , but if you really need the sprocket removed it works well . ^_^

Are there no local riders who would have an old chain lying around ?

    Cheers

  6. Hey there , I was just wondering if anyone on here could tell me where I could get a couple of the washer/spacers shown in the pic below .

    bottombracket.jpg

They seem to have went missing and I dont really want to buy a new BB just for the spacers , so are these shaped to suit the spline (if yes , where can I get them) or can I use an alternative ?

    Cheers :)

  7. Sorry i have no idea where to get them from but i have a simular question for the same bb, the washers that are on the bolts are they needed? i ask becuase when i have them on the bolt sticks out where as when removed they sit flush to the cranks.

Do the bolts stick out WAY too far with the washers in ? They shouldn't protrude so far that they actually affect your riding surely ?

The bolts sit flush in my Echo SL cranks with the washers in .

I'd keep the washers in if I were you. :turned:

  9. Hey , I run a KHE Collapse chain on my LYNX .

It seems pretty strong , only thing is I've heard they get stiff links , but it should be fine if you keep it well lubed .:)

    Cheers

Damn I wish I hadn't said that now , I think I jynxed it :P I just snapped it >_< It was only a couple of rides old ! Gutted !

    Cheers

  10. I am ordering a prebuilt rear wheel and want a grind, but I need to know if they will do a grind on a prebuilt wheel.

    Thanks, Elliott.

    Hey , I don't see why not , :turned:

Just go to the part on the menu that says "workshop" and add a "tartybikes Rim Grind" to the basket along with your wheel , if you have any doubts just write them a note at the checkout stage saying that you would like the grind selected to be applied to the wheel that you have ordered. ^_^

    Cheers

  11. Hi , I ride both motorbike trials and bike trials , and your idea sounds absolutely great , and being from Ayrshire I'm well within reach of Glasgow :turned: so please keep the information coming as I'm really interested in finding a place to ride and practise alongside other like-minded people. I'll send out the word to my motor trials biking buddies :D ,don't know anyone who rides cycle trials though :( I'm the only one in my town lol

seriously hope it all works out ^_^ it would be really good I think.

    cheers

  12. Hi there, I can't honestly say i've ever heard of it being done :S.

The edges of the holes might actually give the pads an edge to bite onto giving it good grip but I think it would be murder on your pads to be honest.

I think the best idea would be to stick with a disc rather than shelling out money for a magura , just to find that you would have to buy/build a new wheel.

If your Hope brake isn't powerful enough for you as it is you could always try a larger rotor. :turned:

    cheers
