  1. I haven't been on here for ages and it's kind of a weird topic to first post on but anyway.....

I don't know if it will help much, i'm just going by personal experience and it sounds like i didn' have it half as bad as some poeple here.

it's going to sound like the worst advice ever but i found that once i noticed i had a problem, i was always upset and it really wasn't normal and then i told myself i was happy! i told myself i was happy every minute of the day, i thought about other people in the world. I know you always hear this; poor people in Africa, children working in sweatshops in China, but when you think about it, and think about the problems in your life, they just seem so small.

Of course nobodys problems are smaller or bigger than anyone elses, even though i just said that....but i just found if i could use my brainas an advantage rather than it bringing me down!

Oh and exercise! It helped me a lot too! Running especally!

The most important thing though is to talk to people, talk to them about your problems and all the good thing in your life as well :)

I hope that helped....as you can see i'm no psychiatrist (don't know if that's how it's spelt) but i've been through similiar things, although not on the same level...

Anyway you can always talk to me if you like :D

and Oh on a lighter note; you bought my bike Hannah! :Plol

  2. Hey, i am needing new tyres for my onza rip.

I have been told that the rip has a 20'' rear wheel so the 19'' tyres you normally get won't fit on it.

I have been looking around and can only seem to find 19'' rear tyres.

I have thought about getting two front ones but then the thickness would be an issue.

    Help would be appreciated :)

  3. Ok. Well thanks everyone :) question answered

How do i change the title of the post so I can ask the moderators to close it?

Trials is not very popular where i live so he can't really try a stock but iv'e got a mod he can try.

Do you think a standard Onza Rip is a good example or will it put him off it forever :P

He's really large, like big built. :P he's a giant!!!! Just found out he's 6'5!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :) Thanks for the replies

  4. Ok thanks guys.

Bit of a mixed opinion. Guess it's just personal preference really?

I'll find out how tall he is.

If he were to get a mod, what geometry would make it feel bigger.

Like a higher BB rise?? or whatever it is? sorry, i'm no expert :S

  5. My friend is thinking about starting trials, I don't know how tall exactly he is but he is very tall. Over 6 foot I'm guessing.

Anyway I've came to the conclusion that you can buy mods for a lot less than stocks, correct me if I'm wrong.

He doesn't have much money so i was wondering how tall is too tall to be riding a mod.

  6. He's about 1, that's the same supplement as I give Ralph, seems to love it which is cool.

Yeah Ralph gets the odd lettuce leaf to munch on, Romaine lettuce is usually fine for them He's eating weeds grown indoors, plants and a few veg.

Edward doesn't like it much. He's sort of started to eat more now. I started to give him a bath nearly every night and I think it's helped.

By the way, how do you grow weeds indoors? Sorry if that's a stupid question :S

Thanks for your help though :D

  7. Your tortoise is lovely. What age is he?

    He looks really healthy too.

I give him a supplement. Don't know what it is called though :S I think Reptavite.

I gave him lettuce yesterday. I know your not supposed to but it wasn't iceberg and he munched it all. :)

I can't get weeds out my garden because of all the snow. What are you feeding Ralph?

  8. I don't see what the problem is. I went riding today for a couple of hours and plan to go out again on Sunday, I am really hoping the snow is still around on Sunday because its great fun!

Today I was out on the XC bike but I still don't understand why I keep seeing people complain about going out on their trials bike in the snow. Trials is all about challenging yourself and navigating your bike over various obstacles, snow is certainly challenging and it creates interesting obstacles!

*Note this post isn't aimed directly at you benthedog

Well the only problem is, I'm not good to begin with so the snow just makes it impossible and I fall over all the time.

Haha I had to go up the street for my mum so I went on my bike. I went really fast... bad idea... i fell right off the back but didn't let go of the handlebars so the bike was pulling me along the ground :( Didn't fully realise what was happening till I crashed into a wall.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? or is it just me :(

  9. Iv'e always longed for snow but since I live next to the sea it's never came but this year it came and i HATE it.

I can't go out on my bike because it's so slippy and cold and i just got a new one a few days ago :(

I guess people are never happy.

  10. I used to have a timer but I think it nearly went on fire and my mum said I wasn't allowed to use it again. :(

I'm quite worried about his health because i read somewhere that you could tell how healthy they were by the skin on there neck. Edward's is really thin and he can't stretch his neck properly. I'm worried he might die. :(:( He just wont eat though.

Should I take him to the vet?

    Yes he's 2.
