Thanks. I was looking at the ONZA Spyragyra (mainly because it has a seat. )
-
I'll look into it. By "out there" you mean the fact that I'm in the US, right?
A lot of big manufacturers ship all over the world... at least I hope they do.
-
To tell you what I'm looking into: ONZA bikes. Cheap, apparently good for beginners (I hear a lot about the ONZA brand)
Personally, I prefer 26" bikes (my mtb bike is that, so I'm used to it) and would go for the ONZA Spyragyra. Other than that I don't know much about trials bikes...
-
How did your English teacher like it?
(Wish I could do that stuff...)
-
I asked the same question a few days ago and got no reply. But I think I know what to look for...
What do you prefer? Mod bike or stock bike? (Do some research on the looks of each bike, they also work differently.)
I heard that ONZA sells good bikes for beginners, but I could be wrong.
My preference would be a Stock bike with a seat so I don't hurt my tenders.

Just take the weight of the bike and live with it. How a much does your bike weigh? ...20-25 pounds maybe? If so, consider yourself lucky (well, compared to me, probably the only person here who uses a mtb bike).
Drilling holes in a frame gives me the impression of a weaker frame. Don't do it... unless it's a plan to break the frame and get a new one, in which I would say go all out!

less the pressure then more bounce and i have 2 kendas in back and 10psi. i think that a bigger spring is worth the weight of another kenda.
So would you recommend a lower tire pressure to a beginner or a higher one? (Or, does it depend on the bike?)
-
Wow, 20 and 15 psi is really low, if you hit a somewhat sharp curb or thorn the tire would just blow.
Does the tire have some writing on the sides of it that say something like 20- 60 psi (any number really...)
Keeping the pressure higher will make it less likely to burst, well at least for mtb bikes.

Hey guys, I'm Jesse and I currently reside in Rochester, New York.
I ride a Y26 Trek mtb bike, and am learning a few trials stuff on it (I know it's heavy and not a trials bike, but it works surprisingly well for weighing 35 pounds).
Apart from this I am completely new to trials, having only started last month and am really into it!
-
Hey, I am new to trials biking, and have (for the past 2 months) been practicing on a full suspension mtb bike. (I know it sounds terrible, but I can actually pull off wheelies, pivots, and very tiny hops, though the bike weighs about 35 pounds).
I have looked far, and my knowledge of trials bikes is minimal, but I am interested in a 26" (stock) trials bike that is under a thousand US dollars yet still light/strong. Any ideas what fits those requirements?
Thanks.

Nice, but may I add that it would be of your greatest concern to BUY A HELMET!!!!
I know it may be cool not to wear one, but just imaging losing your balance on that wall and falling backwards....
