But who's going to be suffering the consequences? The whole point of May calling this election is to avoid the pending consequences of lying to the electorate about Brexit. Whoever is in charge of the grand departure we're not going to be coming out the other side of it smelling of roses...

I honestly don't think Brexit should be that big a consideration on that basis, look at where the country is now and where it's headed, with or without Europe...

Look at where it was headed last time Labour where in charge and how the Conservatives had to dig the country back out of bankruptcy, Labor promise a better life for the average joe, but at who's expense, the countries!

Thats the beast of the east frame, I think later after that Aston was riding a much more trials orientated frame. I have loads of pics in an old MBUK mag, but I do not think Canondale ever made the frame he actually rode with the better geometry?

Just found this pic of the frame I am thinking of, looks like it has much more clearance than the one that was posted before.

This was a custom geom frame not the retail version.

  3. Those 14" cannondale frames did exist. There was a guy on one in MBUK years ago when then did 'search for a trials star' and i remember one of the bike shops in Aberdeen had one up on the wall behind the counter.

(bearing in mind this was quite a few years ago!)

I only questioned it, as the bike shop i bought mine from said there was only one size.............maybe he only had one to sell :) haha

  4. Rob - you rule, thank you! I will post progress and let you know how I get on (if that's cool?) - but yes, please let me know if you think of or hear about anything else that may help me.

    Best regards,

    Ed

Is that true, I thought they only made a limited run of the Signiature editions? I didnt think they altered the,, I may be wrong?

  5. YES!! Love a bit of old skool. I myself am rebuilding a Heavy Tools Trials frame from the days of the Martins, hope the build goes well. If you decide to go for some IRC tyres I've got a set of Kujo's with quite a bit of tread left on if your interested. Gutted they don't make them anymore, Missiles and Kujo's were awesome trials rubber!

Hey there would you still be up for selling those tyres my man?

Ahhhhh the white fade, how i loved this bike, my model was the original all blue, I guess I could mix and match the parts tough, no ones really going to care are they haha.

Its pretty odd because when I lived ini Barmouth and Pwllheli I always saw and rode with trials riders and since moving to Ruthin, I have hardly seen one............

Will let you know when im your way to ride, where 'localy' do you guys ride?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Who the hell ever rode trials in or around barmouth, I can think of 1 trials rider from barmouth, and about 3-4 from dolgellau?

im from ellesmere, 10-11 miles south of wrexham, but im now an ex rider. moved onto moto trials, and keep meaning to move onto enduro.

EDIT: you get cool points for having

    a) a pritchard quote/brandname in your sig.

    and

b ) a rhod gilbert quote in your profile.

In Barmouth wow, there was myself, Andrew coates, Will Clarke, hmm a few other low key guys haha, but this was like 10 years ago matey. Whne where you in Dol?

  7. Another way in which u can learn and the way i learned is, to get used to the motion of having the front wheel in the air, so pull a wheelie, obviously make sure your not sitting down and practice the motion of pedalling and braking, that way you get used to keep the front wheel in the air and not letting it drop. It sounds like you know how to add the 'hop' so once your compitant with that, add the hop in and away you go. :)

  8. I think you should mess around with differant bars/stems combo, as I ahve had problems with my riding on my new bike, the stem and bars where to long for, so I tried 3 or 4 bars and 2 different stems until I found the set up that worked for me.

  9. no no no cuting them off. i have them for half a year now and they are the best ever.

when i puted them on, i put some coca cola over my handlebar anda the grip went on sooo easy, after 5-10 min ( depends how much coke you put) they her "glued" to the bar.

i even take them off few times, no problem. just pul with your fingers from the inside part of the grip and they will come off easy.

put them on again with fanta mayby this time and you are ready to ride :D

Thanks for this also, i have some on my Atomz and need to change the bars, so funnily enough was thinking about asking the same question. MMMMThanksyou. :)
