  1. ok cool, will take your advice and see what i can do with the next video.

this was the first time i had even used the head cam let alone for riding so was purely an experiment. and also a bit of a chuckle for the people involved. and its always good to have things to look back on and work from.

so a go pro will be next on my order and some bigger and better things will come the next time i post a head cam video.

    thanks for the comments.

  2. I personally wouldn't want to be using a ti isis bb for anything street related, forces are different from pure trialsy stuff which they are fine for.

lesson learnt on that front. when i built the bike i just went for the best/ most expensive parts and it seems to have backfired on me. subsequently all purchases from now on will be high end steel or similar to try and avoid more disasters.

shame i didn't get it on film as it was a massive bang :S

  3. Unlucky there.

    Any full bike pics?

Ti is fine if your not a basher or ride like a pregnant gorrilla on crack.

go big or go home! = Ti bb destroyed. nothing todo with riding like a "pregnant gorrilla on crack" <_< although this probably would produce the same outcome (N)

as for the color of the bike its a factory color and will post pics soon so you can have a little look at her ;)

  4. yesterday after chucking myself over a stair set in Derby city center this happened. >_< (the bb was only 5 months old) not that makes much difference.

  5. evening all,

just been out riding and in derby and stubbled across some other riders! for the first time since i moved here! so was well happy:) but i had only been riding with them for like 15 mins and got a flat so had to go home, and

now i cant remember there names for the life of me! or anything specific about there bikes! and didnt ask for a phone number because i dont ride with my phone.

so my only hope is hope that i might run into them again some time, or one of them might see this and get in touch.

also if there is anymore people that ride often in derby get in touch to!

    thanks,

    Jules

  6. You'd never be able to get it as good as it was before though.

no this is very true, i think you have to be very committed to the rusty/rat look, to do it. but if done right it can look class, if you can appreciate that kind of look that is.

  7. I've thought about going rat look for a while, but I can't bear to strip my perfectly good paint.

I know I'll instantly regret it too lol.

na dude you so should, the rat thing is sick! if not a little seen though! u can alway sand it back and re-spray

  8. any metal with an iron content will rust, steels for and example have a high iron content, so they rust quickly.

there are many ways you can prevent this, but if your looking to make it rust quickly; a good going over with salty water will have it rusty in no time :)

  9. hi everyone,

just joined this forum, but been ridding for a couple of years now. main reason for me joining is that i just started uni in derby and haven't found anyone local to ride with yet! so if anyone would like to meet up some time soon and go for a ride, that would be ace! will give u my mob number if you pm me :D

    thanks
