  13. First Ride

    Today, I went for my first ever trials ride!

    Not the best idea in the ice!

    I have never ridden Trials in my entire life and within the day i learnt a 180 pivot and a stoppie rollback!

    I am so so pleased with my self.

    Is this a good start?, Do you think that that is any good?

    I'm currently running a Diamondback Kabuki.

    First tip: Get a new bike. :giggle:

    Second tip: Start with normal hops on the back wheel.

    Third tip: Once you can pedal hop try doing drops.

    After that do what ever you wan't. Thats how i learnt to do things (apart form the new bike bit).

    I know my bike aint the best but hey!

    Don't sh1t on his bike man, its a decent bike for someone starting out. Don't get all high and mighty you little tool.

    Too right mate it aint bad, just because i dont have an amazing £1000plus bike!

    Hello everyone, good to finally see some snow!

    I've just got myself a Diamondback Kabuki and learning, more to the point has anyone got any tips like what to start on e.g. walls, gaps etc.... Also can anyone tell me what to expect from this bike!

    Well not trials, but I had a pretty awesome accident on my bmx back in Febuary.

    After the operation to basically repair my whole forehead.

    Details:

    Broken bones:

    Frontal Sinus

    Nose,

    Left Cheek bone

    Jaw

    Neck (The ring right at the top of the spinal cord)

    Also split my lip in half and put a nice gash on my chin.

    Comments?

    loads of riders in Cornwall, and some in Devon? :S

    Anyway, get out to the Xmas eve ride at Plymouth... you'll meet mucho people :)

    I have heard about this xmas eve ride it sounds soooo good. Im going to try get myself down there. Thing is ive got round my auntie and cousins down and were going for a big family christmas so i may not get down to plymouth (N)

    i was once out riding with a friend i was bmxing he was trialing and i had a go on his bike trying to get up 3 pallets (ID NEVER DONE TRIALS BEFORE) but i fell over to the left and toppled a pile of pallets on his bike and my legs i broke one and fractured the other shin but my friend was so pissed about the state of his bike he started wondering off without me OK I WAS ONT OUTSIDE MY HOUSE but thats not the point were mates agian know because he let me shoot him in the back from five foot away with his bb gun :lol:

    EDIT:my friend realised i wasent ok and fetched my mum, he was really sorry. diddent want to give you the impression that my friend is a d**k or anything! :blink:
