  1. Ooooh, what colour you going for son?

Hope you can do it more justice than I did (with the looks).

Ive decided to go for white mate, may well change my mind will wait and see how it looks!!!

I think thats the only way i'll do it more justice than you!! :D

  2. We have 2 of those frames for test and the other frame was used with Middleburns and a 20T ring up front (22T wouldn't clear), so it can work (Y)

    Cheers

    Adam

Brilliant Adam, thanks for the reply, its good to get a definate answer!

  3. If you mean you think the chainring will be too wide and catch the chainstay, then I'd not worry about it because -

    1- it might fit anyway

2- you can get a longer BB to space it out

3- you can always buy a cloud 9 (awesome bit of kit) or a TNN or middleburn 16t ring

    Show us a picture?

Yeah mate, Thats what I was wondering. Im currently painting the frame but will get pics up asap.

    Thanks for the advice

  4. Just a quick question,

Ive just bought a Yabbaa frame off of Ross McArthur, which I believe used to belong to Ali C. From looking at photos it looks like a stinger frame.

My question is will I still be able to run my middleburn rs7's, as the chainstays look very close to the bb, or will I have to go front freewheel??

    Thanks in advance

  5. I odered stuff from tartys and it was sent out this week and I got it yesterday.

Great service, especially over the xmas period.

Adam even took the time to reply to an email I had sent, which was much appreciated!!

Hope all you guys have a good new year!!

  6. Im looking to get my rear king serviced, and as I dont know anywhere near me that can do it, I was looking at sending it to tartybikes to get them to do it.

Does anyone know how long it normally takes, and what way is best to get the wheel to them???

    Thanks

  7. Hello,

I have been looking around the internet for another frame and came across the Marino Trials frame (26") which I like the look of, and seems to get good reviews.

    What I was wondering is

    1. Has anyone got any bad reviews of them??

    2. If so what would be the best geo to get, im 6'3" so would like something reasonably long!?

Brake mount spacing, Dropout spacing, Axle width, Tire width, Wheelbase, Chainstay, BB Rise etc???

Any help would be much appreciated!!

    Thanks

  8. Have a look here FRAMES

Any of them will be good enough. Look at the "reach" of the frames in the description and go for the longest one you can afford. that should make the bike a bit more comfortable to ride.

Some good news...there is a trials park being built in Glasow!! A massive one at that. Im one of the directors and will sussing out what we will need for the mountian bike trials riders and ive got some cool ideas for the place.

So really, you coming back now is the best time you could have chosen!

    NIce one......cheers for the advice!!

Trials park sounds awesome, will keep an eye on the progress and will def make a trip up!!

  9. yea yea still riding away now and again.

Send me a PM with your number and we can get a ride in at some point. There is a few riders round about still....Even watson!!!

You better get a nice frame for me to drool over!

    Will do mate.

Im soo out the loop when it comes to decent frames etc these day, any recommendations for someone of my lanky build (6'3")????

  10. Do I know you? I think I do. Are you a police man? I think you are. Do I have a picture of you with burger king chips hanging out your nose? I think I have!

What you riding now man? Was it a woodman you had a while back?

I may have the wrong guy?

Hahaha, yes I think your right mate.....apart from I dont remember the burger king pic!!

i used to ride with wee gordon etc!??

Ive only just got my woodman back after about 5 years away!!I sold it to a boy who hardly used it.....im just looking for a new frame cos the rest of it is decent components!!

How are you mate, I see from your vids your still riding away!!Im very much back to basics!!!

  11. When you get vallidated you will be able to buy and sell to your hearts content.

Your not able to at the moment to prevent new people joining and instantly stealing everyones money. (I'm in no way saying everyone would do this.)

The vallidation system allows people to become more confident in you as a person.

Once you get enough vallidation votes from current members you will be able to post everywhere in the forum.

    Enjoy your vote from me.

Thanks mate, I can understand the sytem. Im more used to car forums so its just a bit new. Looking forward to seeing what bikes are up for grabs!!!

  12. Hi folks,

My names Keith and im returning to the trials scene after around 5 years away.

I used to own a Woodman stock bike, with goodies such as Chris King front and rear hubs and headset, brisa bar/stem and hope mono trials brakes.

I am looking to get a similar bike to get back into the swing of things and thought this would be a good place to look.

When/How am I able to post in the wanted section??

    Thanks
