  1. i really am not bothered about being a new member at all its just the fact of people asking stupid questions that don't make any difference. And when i first registered on here sometime after Xmas i think i made about ten good topics and didn't get validated so i have given up and don't really care any more but because i am a new member i want there to be some good topics to talk about not just people asking what knobbles to cut off there tyre's and stuff like that. <_<

  2. hi

Ok then to start off with i'm not bothered about being a newbie but i am beginning to get really annoyed at the fact every time i come on to this site the only things there are to talk about are people ask how to hop on the back wheel and peddle up advice and i'm sorry but i'm not having a go but i manage to learn all this stuff on my own. And i really don't no why people want advice on how to do it that's not going to help if you want to learn the watch a video you will find it so much easier believe me.

Also we are not all newbie's in this section so there's no reason why we can't have topic like in the full members forum. :S

I'm sorry to have a right rant but i feel it had to be said. <_<

    my apology's aidan

  3. HI

I have just brought a second hand Zoo! pitbull 07. The stickers have been taken off and don't like the look of it. i remember some one saying once that someone on the forum could make them.

If so then help would be much appreciated. Many thanks Aidan.

  4. I had the diamondback all in all i thought it was a good first bike but i have just snapped it after five months ridding. The only reason i found that i could not get clearance for my magura was that the drop outs for the wheel are offset this means the wheel sits closer to one side. What i did was got a spoke key and realigned the wheel so it was central. This gave me clearance.

And also with the flex in the frame i brought a two bolt boster from neon cost 16pounds stopped all the flex and made the brake so much better.

Hope all this helps Aidan (Y)

  5. I live in Worthing.

I'm guessing you know where Worthing Town is :D

I will add you on Facebook if you have it and we can organise some rides. I'm like 15 minutes from you.

DUDE YOU GO TO MY SCHOOL!!!

    or did?

what durrington high yeah i finished last year.

i do no were worthing is i used to live there :turned: .

  6. Thats incorect. Infact a good rider will rely more on the chain than the brake. And if your rally good you can do it without the rear back at all.

Trials by definition put exces amount of stress through the chain, so standard chains will not last.

As previously stated make sure all of your drive line is in good shape and correctly adjusted. Its alos a good idea to change the chain, chain ring and sproket at the smae time, as they will wear together.

well that may be your opinion but the reason i belive that is because i was told this by a competition rider.

    who is currently teaching me.

  7. are you relying on the chain before you do a blunt? instead of your back brake. if so this puts alot of strain on a chain and is one of the ways to shorten the life them

YBN heavy duty 9speed shifter chains are amazing made for trials with shifers :D

  8. Hi there, Got a Break Booster recently and im having trouble applying it. I have asked tarty bikes who are looking at photos of me putting it on atm to see where im going wrong, but Im after all the learning possibilities I can get :)

does it go on top of the break clamps in the middle or on the bottom? I have been trying on the top.

the problem seems to be the length of the bolts are too short or the spacers are too long, I cant get the bolt to bite on the thread of the frame probably because there isnt enough of the bolt poking out of the bottom clamp.

here some pics of the problem

    Thanks guys.

i would say mate dont use those long spacers , or get longer bolts. that brake booster does go on top and im pritty sure if its the echo then they should have given you some longer bolts

  9. well changed the stem and tyres and what a diferent bike to ride, amazing how much diff small adjustments to stem can make!! only had a quick roll about but feels a lot diferent. cant wait to get out there and improve my riding. (Y)

well good luck mate. (Y) and i don think it takes long to learn trials i'd say it just takes long to be controlled well that how i'v found it. :)
