What bike do you ride ? Onza T-Bird 2006 model
How long have you been riding ? Few weeks on trials - 4-5 years bmx
Favourite trick ? still learning basics
Best riding spot ? Anthing local
Sponsors ? none
How often you ride ? not as often as i should but weather is still really crap here

-
I gave you a vote and your a full member now
haha cheers bro
it turned out not to be a PM but a message saying fathopper had added me as a friend
-
okay i understand why you do the get 5 votes etc etc, and as admin on other forums i see its benifits, but with the PM rules, i have been sent a PM but i cant read it as i dont have access due to not having the 5 votes yet.
So this is kind of a complaint but more of a quiery of why people can send me a PM but i cannot read them? why not just limit the system to i cant send PM's
any help on anyway i could possibly see what has been written?

ok cheers guys, will have to rip it apart and find out haha
-
ah dude dont confuse me haha
24 front - 18 rear
as for the rest your guess is as good as mine. Its a stock onza t-bird 2007 model if thats any help?
if it was a bmx i could tell you but im learning about the bike as i go along, so to be honest not much of a clue at the minute
-
hey guys, im currently riding a stock onza t-bird, running 24 - 18 ratio gearing (i think i counted it right haha). To be honest im finding it a bit too light.
Any suggestions on what size gearing to change over to? so it doesnt feel like im getting nowhere when i pedal. I know mod bikes have light gearing but this is too light at the min.
cheers in advance for the advice guys...

welcome mate

can anyone suggest a half decent front disk brake to upgrade to from my rim brake.
I have a stock onza t-bird running HS33's and i want to switch over to a disk on the front. Can anyone make any suggestions?
are the Magura Louise any good?

luckily enough for me i have found a local company who burn all their old pallets, who are being kind enough to just let me take as many as i want just need to clear out the unit now

Check out Martyn Ashton's video guides it doesn't really tell you how to do it but it gives you a few ideas about the basics.

first im going to appologise, im not tryin to take over your thread mate i just wanted to ask a quick qestion.
would it be worth upgrading parts on the bike rather than getting a complete new set up, especially as you know your bike and the way it moves/handles...
just wanted opinions really as im learning on the same bike, and i just wanted to know whether (when the time comes for me) i should save enough budget for a new bike or simply upgrade the parts?!?!
-
mmm there is a rather large lock up near me that been abandoned and unused for the last 15 years that i can remember of so may have to get some pallets etc in there so i can ride no matter the weather
-
okay cheers everyone, shall look into all your advice
-
whats the basic skils to master first?
i got bunny hops fine from riding bmx, and im gettin to grips with how sharp the brakes are compared to my bmx lol.
cheers for the advice.

ah i hadnt thought of building something in my garden, may have to go for a drive with my trailer

good video mate, anyone know the name of the track?
-
there is quite a dmeand for a bmx game from EA Sports, lots of little petitions everywhere to demand EA Sports makes a bmx game.
-
looks good mate, you seem to have had a decent finish on it. Personally i like to leave the paint overnight to set fully and then laquer the following, then leaving that overnight to set.
Personally i would have thrown on more than 2 coats of laquer, its going to chip relatively easy with only two coats of laquer. I like to give my frames at least 5 coats of laquer.
