[24" Tyres]

DMR's are an excellent choice for dry conditions, as are Holy Rollers, and Tigoa Skidrows. Another one would be kenda k-rads, but when I have used them i got lots of pinches unless I ran them at uber-high pressure.

If you ride wet aswell, then you could look at maxxis minions or high rollers, great tyres all round, you can run them at most pressures and the wear rate even on the supertacky compund isnt bad at all and they are dead grippy

Now youve used hairspray, id put them on and leave them so it dries up, or an alternative (pretty much the same thing) is deo. If they are rubber grips you would have been better not putting anything on at all, I only used hairspray/deo to get them off

The best you can do is just let them dry up now, see how it does.

I'm 6'4 and ride a short Mod, so its whatever you feel you want to ride... Anything thats comfortable youll be fine with

I used to get slight back ache at first, but never had pain after the first few days, i guess its just getting used to your bike

[Chain Spray.]

WD40, or AC90 (the cheaper version) is like a degreaser, it's better to use when cleaning your bike, gets rid of muck/rust etc

I wouldnt reccomend it for lube though.. If I were you, id spray your chain with WD40, wipe it off and then apply some lube (any will do really, bog-standard chain lube would be ok)

try different ways of doing it. you could either do it from a wheelie, or from a trackstand throw your weight back and kick on the pedal to help the front wheel up.

then its just practice

i found it very frustrating at first, but when i got them dialled it was really good, just keep at it... all you can do is improve

Ive been having a problem with riding in the wet, if I go out in the wet or ride through some wet terrain, my brakes become very soft and hardly work so I have to dry the rims and adjust my brakes to make them better

Is there any way I can resolve this?

My problem with the kenda k-rads were they pinched easily, but they have lasted ages, must be four or five years now

I have some maxxis minions 20x2.5 and they are honestly some of the best tyres ever, you can run them at dead low pressures for dh sometimes and the grip is quality, however my friend has som high rollers, which are also great. Its hard to choose, but most of maxxis' tyres are decent, as are kenda, continental etcetc..

yeahh xen's are still in production, they do some really cool graphics now, although a little pricey theyre great. id reccomend it
