The internal diameter of the hosing is different meaning that viscosity has a greater effect for the braided tubing. As said above, plastic hosing (braided crossover doesn't really hurt performance but is much stronger) and a water bleed gives the best overall performance in my mind. I've only ever used pure tap water and have never had a problem in around 8 years.
And are they easy to bleed DIY style ?

Braided hoses make your brake really sluggish, I hated mine.
Plastic hose + Water bleed = Win.

i recently bled my magura, and i used the royal blood. i did it twice to make sure i got a good bleed. i have no problems with it, and it is not spongey at all!
i wouldnt bother using water, just use the royal blood and make sure you get a good bleed.
Does the cable i have matter because am switching to braided

Hi, am getting my rims back next Saturday and then i will need to change the cables on my brakes and am just wondering if i should invest in some magura blood or water and anti-freeze ? what do you's use or think ?

I have a seat. Screw you seatless people! People may moan about clearance and weight, but my bike weighs nothing anyway, and my knees aren't a fan of bending that much. So it works for me.
Is your seat on Mod ? because thats what am thinking making a custom fabricated one for my Mod.

If you want to sit down, take one foot off, so the cranks are vertical, then sit on the free pedal.

HI, i was just wondering if there was much point in me custom fabricating a seat for my mod, personally i thought it was a good idea but it could be a bit pointless.
what do you guys think ?

I wear good old plimpsoles, decent grip feet shape the pedals really well. However on falling off it hurts the feet
i might try high top plimi's ? what do you think

Yes, initial feelings are good about them. I have ridden about 12hrs in them since saturday and they are already comfy.
The sole is far better than the tryall also.
Nice i have a pair of supra skytops but i dont wanna wreck them on my bike

i was thinking just a pair of plimi's they'll give good feel from the pedals but not much protection on my ankles

I got some new Ribbo shoes the other day very nice but expensive.
Used to use try alls but they wore out quickly will just have to wait and see how these last.
Ribbo the grey high top ones from tarty ?

Hi i know this is kinda a stupid question but i tore the ligament in my left ankle and its not as strong as it used to be and can be twisted quite easily what shoes are good for trials biking
i have DMR v12's if that makes a difference Cheers

Nahh i didnt crack it it was already cracked but i didn't notice till i had completely striped the frame down to be sprayed

Its a Zona Zip got it second hand to learn on for £50 then if a get good i'll upgrade frame etc. and can you have a bash plate and ring ?Cheers SpoorsyTF

anyway i run mine at 30-40.
If you want to do decent sidehops, you want your tyres harder. The harder you pre-load, the more bounce it gives when hopping.
