Esi Grip Chunky.
What do you mean by that?
-
Hi guys,
I took a decition to change my grips because they have melted.
I used to have Inspired Lock on but they melt pretty quickly.
So, what kind of grips last longer?
-
Guys my problem is with the tensioner not with the chain.
I just bought the chain and I don't want to buy a new one,
I just want to buy a new tensioner in which I can fit this chain.
Please inform me about tensioners for this chain.
Thanks

Have you tried spacing out the side plates by taking out the screws that go through the jockey wheels, putting some washers either side of the jockey wheels inside the side plates, and then re-assembling it all. This should move the side plates further apart, giving it enough width for the chain to pass through. If you need to space it out loads you may need longer bolts though, as the washers may not allow enough thread depth in the side plates and the threads may strip out.
Nice thought but I have already tried this and failed because the tensioner has it's own bolts and I can't replace them with mine.
Thanks anyway!

Hi guys,
I faced a funny but serious issue.
I bought trialtech k710 kool, 1/8" chain but it's too wide. So it doesn't fit in my chain tensioner (Rohloff Speedhub Tensioner).
Please I need help
I would like to tell me about chain tensioners for my chain.
Thanks

You have two options, flat platform pedals like this or caged pedals like this. I've never used caged pedals myself so i dont know whats good or whats not although they are more suitable for comp riding. For 24" you're probably doing more street riding so a good platform pedal is your best bet. It all really depends on how much you want to spend, good ones start at around £25. I run DMR V8s on my bike although they may not be ideal if you have big feet. A wider and lower profile pedal is great, something like the Inspireds or Echo pedals. Have a look around, other pedals i can suggest are Shimano DX's, NC-17s, Superstars or DMR V12s.
Hope ive helped
Thank you TrialsMan Dan for your helpful information.
I had DMR V8 too, but I was not satisfied
After DMR, I bought Inspired platforms and I have since Easter.
As with what you're saying I'm thinking that I'm going to continue using this kind of pedals because I'm not very fun of caged pedals.
And now comes the second question.
Which are the strongest platform pedals?
-
Hi guys,
I would like to be informed about strong and comfortable pedals for 24" trial bike.
-
thank all of you guys for your response
as for you isitafox I used KMC Z510 HX, 1/8'
you can see a picture of my KMC chain's broken parts here(tab: photos)
-
Hi there,
I used KMC chain and the past month I broke it 5 times.
So, I have to buy a new one, and I need informations about strong chains, in order to make the best choise.
If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it.

Then you should rewrite the sentence it makes no sense.
Yes, you have right. But I ment that rim brakes are much better than disk brakes
-
I think that is what he meant
NOP.
i meant rim brakes! Beacause they are much better in every way than disc brakes for trial bike use
-
hi man! I am using dmr moto digger and they are very strong tyres and they last a lot
On the other hand maxxis tyres are very strong too but they re also more heavy that moto digger.
If i were you i would buy again moto digger
-
Why do people buy bikes and then ask what they're like?
i agree with him
-
if your bike is 24", I recomend you dmr moto digger. You can use them under every condition.
if your bike is 26", the best choise you have is Maxxis Creepy Crawler
-
from my own experience I definately reccomend to you rim brakes because they are more strong, they have much better sense that rim brakes and they
will last further than rim brakes
-
I suggest you to begin with a 24" because it is more convenient for beginners and you will learn the basic stuff more quickly than on 26"
-
Well, my opinion is that if you don't have an experience on trials and this is your first time I advise you to begin with 24" because its easier to learn with that one

I'm also not a big fun of the raining day, because it always has a raining weather when I decide to go out and record some videos with my tricks

Yeap!
I agree with you.
I could have some faster clips.
As for the video duration, I just would like to show almost all of my clips. But I agree that it could be shorter!
Ι will have it in my mind for my next video
Thank you very much anyway!!!
