I tried changing a tube on the train once and got an ear full. I was right in front of the doors though haha.
a few of us built up a bmx on a train. we had passengers complaining at us but the staff on the train didnt seem to care
-
Wrap your current tube up in another tube , heavy but when I did it I never got another puncture
when i started riding my old limey i done that with 2 kenda DH tubes and still managed to puncture it haha. that was a while ago now though. im a lot better and smoother now

I am driving down from the midlands, and then driving back home to cornwall after the ride....
Adam
my bad, i thought you were getting the train up from falmouth
-
I would imagine 10.30 - 11 at copthorne, I am hoping to get there a little early as I have to leave quite early so that I am not too late getting back home to falmouth.
Adam
me and martin might tag along with you then if hes up for it as were leaving from truro

i started out by getting my technique on curbs and really small stuff and then once i was comfortable with what i already done i moved on to something a little bit bigger

try-all sticky all the way for me. i feel more stable with this tyre and even when theyre bold theyre still surprisingly grippy!!
-
i have a onza bird 2010 aswell and im just running the standard front disk setup that comes with the bike, and its probably one of the most powerful disk brakes iv seen.
-
My worst one was 'Oi mate, where's your f**king clothes?'
Awwwkwwaarrddddddd...
i had 1 like that haha.
some bloke from up counrty was like "put a f**king tshirt on and sort yourself out"
my latest one though was a group of guys with guitars saying "your missing a seat" and my response was "yeah it got nicked but if your really observant you'l notice his bike doesnt have a seat either"

sweet riding . and i love the sheep chasing at the end

Do you grind from right to left when you turn wheel over? If so the grind will be opposite ways on the rim. Check the pads are square as suggested
yes i do. i think i might do it differently next time.
i squared my pads earlier and its a bit better
-
hi. when i grind my rim i grind from right to left. my brake squeek fades away after an hour or so, but it only fades when the wheel is spinning forwards, when the wheel is spinning backwards i get an awsome squeek.
am i grinding in the wrong direction?

Would've loved to see the bolts too
+1 on that
any chance of some updated pics including the bolts?? maybe even the bashplate on the actuall frame?

the bird has been made worse!! they've downgraded the front brake on the 2011. surely you make a newer model better??
-
same , but i don't think he will be on
i dont think they would put him in the trailer and not put it on the actual show
-
heres last nights ride at truro. its the 1st video iv put together so i hope you enjoy.

I've just swapped my frame and rear wheel for a because simple and profile hub. The chain line is way out. the BB is a trial tech race, try all cranks (160mm) and obviously profile rear hub with 12t sprocket.
The chain pulls out at the BB end, I've taken the BB spacer out and the little washer in between the BB and crank, which makes it slightly better, but still not right.
What do?
Also the hub makes a kind of creak when putting any power into the pedals, is this chain line or a buggered hub? The hub has recently been serviced apparently.
are you running a front freewheel without a bashring? because without a bashring the freewheel will be closer to the cranks making the chainline out.the bashring will act as a spacer bringing the freewheel closer to the bb which will make your chainline a lot better.
hope this helps
