Thanks both. I only found out tonight when I saw his face on the front cover of the Gazette newspaper in Spar. Its really hit me hard tonight, I couldnt believe it.
He bought my first 205 from me about 7 years ago now, then after that we kept bumping into each other around Bridgend, until eventually I realised he surfed when I saw him in the water.
Its hit me hard because at our age you think you're invincible, and also because he really lived life - he surfed hard and rode hard and made the most of his body - (didnt just waste it infront of the TV), it dont seem fair that he has been taken at 24! (when there are so many old couch potatoes).
He was always smiling and a genuine nice guy, a huge loss to mankind. Gutted.
The positive im taking from it is his 110% attitude and clean living example, Im gonna try to make the most of each given day.
RIP Mate.
