  2. Hey Guys

My name is Katy and I have been riding trials for about 3 years now. I really got in to biketrials when I got my monty 221 pr in february 2008 and progressed on to an Onza Limey 3.20 before christmas when I got some sponsorship from Joe at Onza. I take part in bike trial competitions across the country and ride some street when I have time, but natural riding is my passion.

I'm from Exmouth in Devon, but I'm currently studying for my masters in mechanical engineering at the university of southampton. I am also often in harpenden in hertfordshire with my boyfriend, Ben Walsh.

I have had an account on trials forum before, but I never used it and can't log in anymore!

My bike has had many modifications since I originally got it, so I shall post up some photos in the bike picture thread. I also have a few other bikes in my collection - Monty 221pr, Monty 219 alp, a 20" Megamo, a shared Onza Mini Master, a Specialized Enduro 08 and recently, a Leeson clear 660 which turns out to have a broken headset and badly flared headtube... (N)

Anyway, see you all out riding :turned:

    Katy

Ever trip down to Torquay ?

  3. Thanks for the replies!

Just one question, is learning trials like learning how to ride a bicycle? :P I mean, once you got a trick, is it hard to forget?

I wouldnt say you will forget it, ive been out for ages and when i got back on a bike i could still climb walls, gap jump etc.. its just the balance and smoothness of how you do it the suffers.

  4. practice practice practice practice practice practice

i used to ride trials a few years back and got pretty good, (if i do say so myself) but all we did as a group of friends or alone was go out and ride WHENEVER we could weather it was at the llocal riding spots or just on kerbs and walls outside your house or in your yard. Dont give up if you want to achieve something keep trying and you will get there.

Trouble is now im getting back into riding i think im going to have to go away and use my own advice hahaha

    cheers

  5. There is 2 26"'s mate, what one the control or pure? I have ridden a control, a sweet riding frame, absolutly amazing, and for the pure ive never heard a bad thing about it :D

Just to let you know there is no echo lite 26"

Ahh i see thatll answer a few questions then haha thanks dude, now to decide which best suits my riding style
