Ive found that my Kenda Smallblock 8 has been pretty good in all conditions. Certainly better than the Rocket Ron. Ive tried both and the Kenda is the better tyre.
The kenda is exactly what i was thinking of getting!
-
wow nice bike!! how's working the front tyre?
The rocket ron is pretty average if im honest, but grip is a issue as soon as anything gets damp. Will be trying a something different very soon!
-
150x30 stems look better proportionally than a 165x35, but they feel horrid to ride with imo. it's a shame the k2 doesn't come in a 165 option.
This looks sweet.
But as much as I love the look of these stems, it doesn't look right on the bike.
I find the stem perfect for me, the bars are in completly the wrong position in the picture, there now much further foward. So that might be what is making it look abit strange maybe. But thanks anyway!

Yes need to loose that disk hub! Cheerscarbons and a non disc front hub would make it sweet. liking the silver echo headset in there, looks seamless
-
It would really improve the forum if it was able to upload pictures directly, instead of having to upload to photobucket, copy and past links etc.
-
Haha cheers, im really likeing the look of it now, and it rides much better. Tryall carbons than it will be done...for nowI love those undiesSeriously though, looks nice dude. I like the stem!

The echo tr wont get any better in my opinion, i swaped mine for a hope trial zone, a huge improvement. So if you can aford it, you may aswell upgrade it.

Go 150x30

Personally think you should spray the dt protector, then when the front mag goes on, grind the front rim and get some black tape on there, maybe raw the rims too, don't think it will be too much silver! Other than that looks nice, bet that is a good stem/bar/frame combo too!
Im gunna take the dt protector off i think spoils the look of the bike, yea im tempted to raw the rims but i reckon there would be to much silver ahaa.
-
That looks awesome! What did you raw your forks with?
I used caustic soda
