thats fine pal, thanks for the advice
you could get a decent stem for round about £30 and handlebars around £50 for brand new, I would recommend getting riser bars

I think, instead of investing in a da bomb bike, you should get a decent spec second hand one.
HIYA yes im getting a monty pr very soon but thanks for the advice
I would be inclined to do this aswell. A 2nd hand onza or something, they are relatively cheap and well built, for the riding you are likely to be doing as a begginer. I would most definitely recommend a mod as a begginer, as they are much easier to learn on, in my opinion.

hiya for bars and stem as cheap as possible but i dont know wether to get them brand new any advice ??

as some of the other people have said it all depends ive got a v brake on my da bomb at the moment i am awaiting my magura hs 33, i have self made pads on the back which are magura phat pads i think and are onto like v brake backings and i have a sharp grind on the rim and at the moment my brake is working very well and has an extremely good hold
Hey
I'm looking at getting a Avid SD7 vee brake as I no longer can be bothered with the hassles I get with my HS33 (rear). So just got a coulpe questions about them
Basically all I want to know is will the SD7 work as well as my maggie if I buy it straight off Tarty with a good set of pads? Or would i need to buy a better outer cable etc etc
Also what are they like for maintenance do they need a lot of work to keep them working at the best?
Any other useful info you guys have would be good to know!
Cheers Zac
