i had this same problem, i had to replace everything to get rid of it, after i bought all the new parts including freehub hope replaced all of the bits so i have a new axle, washers and fully services freehub by hope sat in a jiffy bag going cheap if you need or want them

A few of us are going for a ride in clacton-on-sea tomorrow, we will be starting at the skate park and head through town and down to the sea front to ride the sea walls, rocks and anything else we decide.
Meeting at the skate park at 11:15.
