  1. trialsnoobie, you are, hands down, the most clueless piece of human waste ever shat out of a vagina.

as someone who has ridden both bikes likely longer than youve been alive...am completely baffled by your idiocy

legitimately wouldnt have ever guessed someone that stupid would actually bother riding a trials bike

  2. pauly your post was way too long bro i lost interest roughly halfway through

is it wrong i picture mista wong as the brains behind the speedrace trials dept??

    AAHH, PREASE EXCUSE MY DUSS

while we're on topic...who is responsible for this monstrosity??

  3. hey hows it going todge

just wondering if you sent out the order for the 2 04 levers? i made the order about maybe 4 or 5 weeks back? shipping to NY state in the USA...just wondering if everythings going good or whatever..thanks man!

  4. you offended, pee pee? im sorry...you want me to break it down for you? ok...if they are so clueless as to put slogans on their frames that mean absolutely nothing...why would i trust that their stuff has been properly tested, and/or researched? its bad enough the head tube looks nonexistent..do you really need me to explain why i wouldnt trust a foreign, non-trials company to make my trials frame for me? come on man...its one thing to play devil's advocate...but its another entirely to defend some half-assed company based on nothing at all besides their frame geos...give me a break. im gonna call it now and say they wont be in the trials game anymore come 2012. PS you accuse me of drinking beers but you couldnt spell to save your own life! get a clue knobby!

speedrace slogans - the graphical equivalent of those nigerian emails..

    you had a beer ?

very nice well thought out frames and extreemly good geos ,

I personaly would never buy a frame based on its graphics, cant see how you can slate a companys products over their slogens either.

    never mind

  5. speedrace just seems like a clueless, cheesy, half hearted company..the graphics are laughably horrendous.

examples "please eat my dust" and the gay "never back down" shark....are they serious w/ this shizzle?

  6. didnt mean to come off like that...at all

    i apologize :$

    to answer your question :

freerunners use PH compound (stealth designed to leave no marks...i guess this is a concern of parkour guys?)

freeriders, spitfires, and most of their mtb/bmx shoes use s1 stealth, which is supposed to have superior shock absorption of all the compounds. though, if youre one of the 'purist' types that loves to feel the pedal s under his feet, not sure it would be my first choice. also never tried them, so it could not really have that much of an impact on feel.

splitting hairs here, as climbing rubber has come so far in the last 10-20 years that its all a bit of a moot point, as really any stealth rubber is gonna be like GLUE compared to normal rubber outsoles.

just being a gear queer and pointing out there are different levels of stickiness used in the stealth compound.

  7. not trying to 'convince' anyone...but its common knowledge

go to fivetens site and click on any pair of shoes, under the photo will be a little blurb concerning what stealth compound was used.

also common knowledge: the c4 compound is the ORIGINAL stealth rubber, the only rubber rock climbers are after when they get a resole..it is the most tried & true as far as pure traction.

these days they make climbing shoes with a bunch of different compounds, but these all have slightly different focuses IE durability, stiffness in the toe/midsole areas, shock absorption for day long multipitch routes, etc.

as far as i know, the guide tennies are the only approach shoes that come with the c4 compound. not that it matters, as you can get any pair of shoes you want resoled with c4. take them to a climbing shoe cobbler and be done with it...im very into bouldering as well, and know there is a very hearty bouldering scene in the UK..you should have no trouble finding one near you!

  8. i actually find the freerunners (in black) to be the best looking of the entire fiveten line.

they dont use the grippiest rubber, though. theres a lot of different stealth compounds they use, some stickier than others.

  9. to each his own i guess? i still use them up front but used them for about a year on back, as they can be had pretty cheap in the states still..i went through about 4 pairs in a little over a year..but then again im 195 lbs and prefer a harsh grind...

now ive been using caelifera tangos...you wanna talk about longevity? these things just straight up refuse to wear out..ive had a pair of tnns ive been waiting to throw on for ages, but it looks like ill be running tangos at least another few months

  10. Hey guys people say that its not always the pad you use its the rim so just woundered if i used a Try-All hOle rear rim with medium grind and tnn crm (yellows) it would be good? or would i be better of getting LMG's thanks. (Y)

im pretty sure the CRM compound is aimed at light grinds/smooth rims even? i use them up front as they provide decent modulation (as best youre gonna get with an hs33 at least)..but on a rear setup they tend to to get eaten up kinda quickly..OK bite, GREAT hold, but waaay too soft to use anywhere but up front IMO

  11. running caelifera tango's rear/harsh grind and plaz crm's up front/light grind worn almost totally smooth...both brakes honk, but the front is about twice as loud as the back! used to run crm's on the rear as well but they were getting eaten up pretty quick.

is tnn ---> the old plazmatic guys? or did tnn just rediscover the CRM compound?
