Why are you using so many steel bolts and such heavy cranks but drilling holes on the frame? The holes will kill the frame.
-
personally prefer the original gold, but pfft, that looks yummy!
The original golden one is too heavy. Also,it's hard to match other parts in golden color
-
Very happy to show my current ride with you all.
The frame was a Monty XXV golden edition but I painted it to Giaco style. And I cut the wing, the disc mount and other extra parts just like Giaco do. It didn't influenced the strength but it got much lighter.
Specs:
Monty XXV frame
Breath HS33 fork, however I think a carbon fork is more suitable for it
Try-all carbon bar with Try-all Nowar stem
Born titanium BB, Echo titanium freewheel, titanium cog, Try-all cranks (I swapped into Born cranks now so it got much lighter)
Maestro rims, Breath front hub and Secret Weapon rear hub, Pillar triple butted spokes
Try-all Shift tires with Specialized turbo tubes
Racing line brakes with Heatsink Coustellier pads
All bolts are titanium
Bike weights 8.0kg with pedals
Enjoy!

No, I would have done, but you just ruined it with that post - don't ask for validation, it'll happen if you make decent posts.
oh my god...it's been several days since i regiaster...is it really hard like this to post in other forums?i just want to buy a frame and i have to reply a post....

Give me a vote,please...I want to be validated...

mod bikes will help u to take a better foundation, because mod bikes are shorter, lighter,it can do movements easier than a stock .and after the foundation training,if you like stock ,then change a stock.
-
u can get 2 cogs for ur bike, using hubs just like chris king,18:15(stock),or 18:12 for trial, and get a 11 or even 9T cog for ridding.
-
lift your rear wheel when u get your front wheel pretty high...and then, pull your bike up,and then roll up your legs...
-
a cheap,and strong bike,with good geos(it's most important!)
no considering the weight,it's not important for beginners, but lighter=more expensive.
good geos is most important for beginners,it can help u to do a good foundation.

Uhhh...U'd better get no half link, there's no strong half links because the structure is not reasonable.
If u don't care about weight, then KMC K710/K810 id your best choice, super strong...
If u want a lighter chain, but still strong, then choose ECHO TR or FRANCE SACHS...

No,I've seen Giaco's bike, too. There are even sharp traces of cut wings that proves it WAS a XXV.
The production of a special frame is very high, Monty should use the money to develop new frames instead of making a different XXV if they are smarter:)
