    Ok, so this 'dust' you speak of, is that a metaphorical dust of high regard amongst your peers? How would you put that across in sound effects? Probably with the sound of an Aston Martin pulling away on gravel...

    How would I put that in sound effects. That's my work and what I'm up to. To settle people out of their their time and space.

    Yea, I saw a massive sale of 'The Association Of Stories Told Using Only Sound Effects' for $104billion today, with a stock price rising by 13%.

    It's not all about money, it's about having an original idea and figure out in history, which is not simple among millions and millions of human beings that were born and died with nothing better to say and confess that they were born, reproduce and died. Are you a jew?

    You have the right to, of course. But take it from me, you're better off not bothering if you're not going to do it in a certain way. Hint: Calling people thick isn't the 'certain way', especially when those people seem to shit all over your intelligence levels.

    They can shit all they want and can, I have better things to do and future will see us, or maybe it will only see a few of us... the other's, they will be just... dust.

    It is never, EVER, the viewers fault. If the viewer/listener doesn't get it it's because they aren't your target audience. It's not our job as the receiver to view it from your perspective, it's your job as the producer to make sure that: 1. Your message is clear in your own head and 2. that you're getting that message in front of the people who will understand and appreciate it. On top of that, it's your job to know that you're going to get shit from those who don't like it BUT take that graciously and silently, because it's outweighed by the beauty of the appreciation from the others.

    And it's not a new medium, it's TV for the blind.

    I understand all you say, and I agree with you on the part that people have the right to say that what you have done is "shit", but at the same time I have the ritght to respond to others to defend myself, isn't it?

    Why do you think Schopenhouer or many others explained his original ideas again and again in multiple forms? Because he was not really sure and convinced about them?

    No, because groundbreaking ideas take a time and explanations to be assimilate.

    For the moment, I'm not working on advertising, so this way I don't expect everyone to understand what I do.

    Yes, I'm serious. I'm the only one mixing sound engineering and telling stories to this date who takes it seriously. There will be probably people that will do it better than me, that would be wonderful, but nowadays I'm like the one that did the first basic and underlying comic book.

    See what I mean, you're out calling everyone thick.

    I release a LOT of shit online. It's my job. I don't sit around crying everytime someone doesn't like something - I look to see if there's something to be learned for me to improve my business, my service, and my end result.

    Here's a question, and I mean this sincerely and want a similarly respectful answer: Should true art/creation/storytelling need the artist/creator/author to explain it?

    Of course it has not to be explained. It has to be expleained by itself, that's why the author trust on the viewer, listener's (in this case) imagination and that's why there's no a tittle here. Only sometimes it's not the object's fault (your work), it's the listener's, viewer's fault and their narrow mindset. It's annoiyng to have to explain certain things that are obvious to yourself, but I know this is a groundbreaking way of telling stories and i'll have to front a lot of shit as all the pioneers have suffered.

    Fopityflop, you 'story' was shit. You then called people out for being 'weird' when you're the one posting up a 'creepy' soundtrack of a baby getting spitroasted by a strapon. Then you called people out for acting young while you're spitting out your dummy (no doubt fresh from your arsehole). Shut the f**k up and integrate rather than being so aggressive. Irony noted. Off to go stick my dummy back up my arse now.

    I explained what the story was meant to be and what were my intentions about it. It's you and other thick people that made it look like some sort of scandal (we are in XXI centry ff shacke, it's so ridiculous after what we see in the media or what Polanski released in his better days.

    That's a bit odd. I'm not sure I'd call a parent murdering a kid (assumedly out of frustration?) a horror story. It's just a violent action, that's not what a horror story is, it has no element of 'horror', no suspense, no fear ect...

    Yes, that's a good point, but working this way is very limited. You have to take care of sounds you use, planes (dynamics) and perspectives. If some people understood it and found it disturbing that's enough and what it was meant to be. Something like a little trip in time and space to introduce yourself in a creepy scene.

    Wow, defensive much? 2 questions/thoughts:

    1. If people are deducing that it's rape rather than murder that you were trying to portray, shouldn't you take that as feedback that you didn't manage to put your story across well enough?

    2. How can you possibly get defensive over people thinking it's rape, and insinuating that you think that is a 'weird' thought when you're the one producing a story using only sound effects about murder?

    I thought it was dogshit, regardless of whether it was rape or murder. I did like the picture of the cloud cock though.

    Funny because only 2 people thought it was rape and it was only in this thread. And I only responded because I was called "sick" and found it so ridicule.

    Pervert: A person whose sexual behaviour is regarded as abnormal and unacceptable. Don't cha think you're a bit sick and twisted to be posting that kinda thing anyway.

    The story has nothing to do with sex, that's only in your mind. It's a nanny (or a mother, that's leaved up to the listener's imagination) that goes crazy and kills a child. A horror sotory.

    How old are you? aren't you 18 or so?
