  1. If you tick the option "let iTunes organise my music", then all you have to do is drag the files/album into the iTunes window. It will add them to library, add them to the iTunes music folder... Then you can delete the originals from your download location.

I used to hate the idea, but now I don't know how I lived without it!

  2. With regards to the forks, both the standard Zoot fork and the Zoot Pro alloy fork will definitely find their way into this years parts range. There is some debate over whether we should go for a straight fork or a curved fork in the standard Zoot. We went initially for a curved fork, but would be interested in any arguments or reasons for either style.

Personally I think curved forks akin to the Pashley's look spot on, however I know this view certainly isn't shared by everyone. On a steel frame, fat alloy forks just don't seem to look "right".

I think some simple curved steel forks and higher end alloy straight forks would be the best way to go. Just make sure they have V mounts!! (The only negative of the Inspired forks, running V adapters ruins the aesthetics :P)

  3. Are the forks on the 24 going to be made available separately? If the specs are right it would be nice to have an alternative to Pashley's, avoids the hassle of having to get the mounts moved down.

    Any details?

  4. Indeed, but I'd quite like to see more pictures, as I'm sure anyone looking to buy would be too :)

I am currently camera-less, and I wouldn't want to post phone pics of something that clearly you want in detail!!

To be fair, it's under £200 for a custom build frame delivered to your door. The quality is more than good enough for that price point. From what I've seen, the welds get better and better. Mine are more than good enough.

DO NOT under any circumstances get the built in tensioners that he offers. I had to grind mine off after 2 minutes because they quite simply aren't strong enough. If you want horizontal drop outs, get snail cams, I had them on mine and it's fit and forget.

So long as you are very clear with him about what you want, he will sort you out. IMO the best way is to choose some geo, and keep the frame SIMPLE. The simpler it is, the less chance there will be of you being disappointed when it arrives.

Bottom line, love mine, would buy another.

  5. I've just noticed that your running the eclat seat... isn't it constructed for 25,4" seat tubes?!... i thought you have a 4play geo?

Yes I have Inspired geometry (angles and lengths) but the tubing is obviously different... Therefore I have a smaller diameter seat tube.

what is the model of stem and where can you get one from

and are the bars azonic double walls

and the levers look good what are they

sorry for all the questions mate but i really like it

Thomson stem, 90x15. Chain Reaction or any other shops that sell Thomson.

    2.5" Double Walls.

    Avid Ultimate levers.

  6. What size stem is that? Love the look of this, I have just ordered a Marino myself and have being pondering the stem size, that looks perfect.

    Thanks

    Mike

It's a 90mm by 15 degree rise. Only available in 25.4mm clamp so no oversize bars unfortunately.

  7. I'm using the Rhyno Lite XL front and rear on my Marino. I think if you are looking at "proper" trials-width rims, you are blatantly going to run 20psi and fat tyres, which isn't really the point (in my opinion of course).

Plenty strong enough, very well made and has eyelets so you can build a nice tight wheel.

  8. that really is georgous, nicest 24" yet. very tidy.

roughly how long is the wait for the marino frame once orderd? did u find the whole ordering process easy?

He built the frame for me before I'd even paid, which I thought was crazy, but from the first e-mail I sent him to the frame arriving on my doorstep... 3 weeks?

Like I said before, so long as you are VERY clear in explaining what you want, there will be no problems.

  9. Oooh another bump, haha cheers :)

The Thomsom stem is 90x15 (only available in 25.4mm clamp size :()

King is holding up fine, never had a problem with Kings in the last 6 years of using them so no surprise there!

Rear spoke lengths I really can't remember, but I bought them from Tarty and they worked out what length I needed, super helpful as always :)

  10. I totally agree very nice I should get mine sometime next week I hope....

first of all really nice bike I agree will all the posts just clean and sweet looking, I should get mine sometime next week I hope, did you just buy a frame from him?

I just bought the frame yes. Had no problems throughout the process. So long as you are clear about what you want, he wont let you down :)

  11. Its bloody lovely Dan although you do need to work on your drop to two technique to be up there with the big boys..........

on a serious note, gold cable for the win, welds looked pretty tidy in the flesh and some pimp arts. Still find it funny that your brakes levers are worth more than the frame......

LOL yeah I will have to lower the PSI if I have a hope of competing in the world drop to flat comps
