Alright cheers, anyone know which avid my front brake is from the pic?
-
Yeah there's nothing wrong with it, a few small scratches on chainstay but apart from that it's good!
-
Thinking of selling my T-Pro, but before I post it for sale I want to know what price I could get.
Some photos attached and spec is:
Frame: 2007 Onza T-Pro (sprayed black)
Forks: Echo Team (sprayed black)
Front Brake: Avid Disc (BB5 or BB7, anyone know? Photo of disk below)
Rear Brake: 2005 HS33, Echo TR clamps, Echo 4 bolt booster and Heatsink yellows
Stem: Echo TR 2 bolt
Bars: Trialtech Sport Rise
Rear wheel: Trialtech Race rim / hub
Front wheel: Revell Drilled rim / hope hub
Rear Tyre: Tryall Sticky, good tread
Front tyre: Maxxis, near bald
Cranks: Standard Onza
Bashring: Tensile
Freewheel: TensileBB/pedals: Unknown
Anyone hazard a guess how much it's worth? Also is it better to sell whole bike or split? -
Obviously way too late, but what is there there?
-
Ah crap! I think I'll just ask the bike shop to face the mounts!
-
Such an amazing video! Wish this wasn't so far away for me
-
Nice! You should come to town or Longman sometime!
-
Okay, looking for photos anyone might have of barrow farm or any other trials set ups, however big or small? Needing ideas! Cheers!
-
Have you tried slackening the bolts off, pulling the lever in then tightening up again?
Nope, I'll give that a try. Meant to say its only rubbing on one side, even with it adjusted as far over the other way that it will go.

Ahh. i made my decision like a few weeks after that post ^
Oops didn't look at the dates! Haha

I was running an Onza front disc until recently when I bought an avid bb5 second hand. Set it up the other day and had first proper ride with it today. It was rubbing like hell so I took it to a local bike shop. The guy looked at it for a while and then told me the forks had the disc mount really far out, and that I'd need to get them faced.
It's not that I don't trust them, but I don't understand how I didn't have this issue before? I've had the same forks (echo team 07) the whole time....
If anyone can shed any light it wold be great!

SL's are meant to snap very very easy.
Can I ask though, what would the weight difference be between standard onza forks and the urbans? Cos this will help me decide too. Thanks. X
For mod? May be wrong but I'm sure I heard around 1.2kg.

A short video from today:

Still pushing forward with this! Looks like we pretty certainly have a location (the skate-park they're re-developing) and possibly some funding too! I'll post when I know any more, or when things progress!

I've stripped the thread on the non-drive-side crank on my bike. Was trying to reassemble my bike and completely forgot about the reverse threads thing
So a few questions:
- Is it actually worth helicoiling? They are Onza cranks so I'm not sure whether it's worth it….
- Anyone know what size the thread is supposed to be, for if I do heli-coil?
- How hard/easy is it to helicoil a crank?
Cheers for any help!

Enjoyed that! How do you get he camera to pan so smoothely at 0:43?
-
Would it be worth a trip up there for a weekend skiing? Is it relatively cheap to kip somewhere close?
Nevis or Cairngorm?
Cairngorm is *apparently* supposed to get 10-20cm of snow today!
-
It's snowing at Cairngorm and they're hoping to reopen tomorrow!

Sounds like what I did last month. I had this thing called a bony spur, which is just like a calcium deposit. Woke up one morning and I could barely move my knee without screaming with pain. Got an X-ray and they explained it all. It went away after a week or two....
-
Snow in Cairngorm has now mostly all f**ked off!
Gutted about it First day of the holidays today, was gonna ski and then the sun decides to come out!
-
That's weird! It's got the "s" beside the "http" which stands for secure, and it looks like the real deal....
-
Have you been emailing him?
Yep, well kinda.
I emailed him and he's replied with a letter.
Got a bit of progress tonight, but i'll post it when it's more definite.
-
Cairngorm and Nevis Range are both open, and Cairngorm's got amazing snow cover now!
-
Not been arranged yet, but he's said he would definitely like to meet up!
How to package tyres for sending
in Trials Chat
Posted
Hi
Selling my bike at the moment, and I've realised that when the tyres sell I will have absolutely no idea how to package them up. Can anyone recommend anything? They're also to go in with a set of bars.
Cheers for any response!
