  1. New to the forum and just thought I'd say hello. Have ridden MTB on and off for years but the last couple of years have mainly been riding a road bike - still get out on the MTB occasionally. Have decided I'd like to give trials a go and have been reading with interest all the 20/24/26" discussions. I understand the pros and cons and think I've decided on what I want to do with this bike. I like the idea of a mod as it seems they're perhaps easier to learn on and I can probably play with it in my small back garden. However, stock might suit better as I'm used to MTB. And, my thinking is I'd like to take the bike up the woods right by where I live and ride natural - hop on logs, tree stumps, rocks, benches, etc. So, I guess 26" makes more sense. And this brings me to the MAD Phase 1.2, which at £200 seems like a bargain for starting out on. Even if I'm going to have to fork out later to convert it to singlespeed. Is there some logic in my ramblings? Have I missed the point? Are there alternative bikes I should be looking at? Did consider the Onza Zoot 24" but it's more than double the price of the MAD - or is it worth paying the extra? Cheers, Rich
