Don't worry about that, unless you give it a proper thwack it's not going to die
Will it weaken the frame at all or cause it to crack in the future?
-
-
Possibly, it depends on the location and the depth of the dent. Let's have some pictures.
The dents aren't massive but i was really just worried incase they cracked. Both dents are on next to each other and they are just above the bash plate mount. I will upload pictures in a bit.

I have noticed a couple of dents on my frame. Will these cause the frame to crack or shorten the lifespan of my frame at all?

I just held some bb7 pads over a flame once, you can smell the oil burning out of it & see the smoke, once it stops smoking it should be done. Those pads came back pretty good from being useless.
I've tried boiling in water before too but it never worked.
Might sound stupid but what kind of flame?
-
Surely if you boil the pads the oil goes to the surface, so how do you get the pads out without re-contaminating?
Pour the water out before you take out the pads or when you take them out boil them again
-
Just curious, when pads are contaminated, is the only solution changing them?
You don't have to, but the brake wont be as good as before.
-
Is it something like this:
If it is then its contaminated.
I got some great advice in this thread:
http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/180629-front-disk-thinks-its-a-rim-brake/#entry2493309
The sound is similar but a lot harsher. I will try boiling the pads and see if it improves. Thanks

My back brake has started making a harsh sound when i brake. Does anybody know what the cause is I have a hope trial zone brake with echo rotor.

A man called into a radio station and voiced his opinion this morning, saying he's gonna buy some drinks to celebrate because he's happy of her death. I can't really believe the radio station aired that as it seems a bit extreme.
There was people partying in the streets of Glasgow and London last night celebrating.

Hi, I'm hoping to go dual disk after christmas and was wondering what disk brakes are best for a mod and will also give consistant braking in all conditions.
-

20" Trialtech stems (the longer ones) are the same as the onza stems. And they both come out of the same factory.
-
If you have the TPA up a fair bit it causes the part of the slave cylinder that pushes the pads out to sit out of the slave body and when you push it in the other side pushes out.
