Hey Gents,
I got bored of my street trials rig and decided to go back to just riding pure trials. Only problem now is I don't feel comfortable with the stem I got.
Need some help choosing a new stem size to get my comfort back. I am 6 foot 2 and the frame is Because Simple.

So here is my Echo Urban. Started out as a Because Simple but stole all the parts from that build and put it on this frame.
Soon after this I picked up a new stem 100mm by 20 degree rise and decided to have it brakeless. But after rolling around on it,
I found that I suck without brakes LOL and the stem was really uncomfortable.
Soon after that I went back to a stem that came with my Because Simple and it felt pretty comfortable. No idea what size or rise.
I also stripped the paint off the rims and took the stickers off the frame. Looks a lot cleaner.
The latest pictures. Sticker bombed the frame a bit to give it some character. I got rid of that stem and got an echo one with some inspired handlebars. I finally found a sweet spot for a stem and bar combo.
I replaced the Avid BB7 and got a Hope Mono Trial front brake. Replaced the odi longneck grips with some Deity Lean grips lock on's ( Best grips ever made ). Trialtech chain tensioner, Nukeproof Pedal,
Inspired seat. Also replaced the Maxxis holly rollers for Dmr Motodigger.
That's it so far for the rebuild. I will be posting new pictures in April, as I order a new wheelset, some Hope goodies, Inspired team fork (Maybe?), and some Stan's Titanium bolts.-

a fork with a shorter offset will feel 'sharper or more responsive' vs one with more offset, if your going streety then a shorter offset one would probably be the best choice.
if you're running a disc up front the 2012 urbans have a 30mm offset (iirc), but the inspired forks will no doubt last longer...........
personal choice at the end of the day
Here's a picture of my Echo Urban, I am kind of in between the street scene and pure trials. The stem is staying, finally found a sweet spot
with stems.

a/c is close enough to make no difference to the bb height and head angle, but the shorter offset of the inspired forks will give the same effect as a slightly steeper head angle (and shorten the wb a bit too).
Wheelbase: 1035mm
Chainstay Length: 385mm
BB Rise: 35mm
Head Angle: 73 degrees

Yep that's the frame.
Would you say the bike would be better over all handling wise with the urban ?? or would the inspired be a better choice ??

Hey Gents,
I got an Echo Urban frame (24 inch ). Using it for street trials obviously. I currently got an Echo urban fork on my bike and was wondering if I would notice a difference if I got a Inspired team fork.
Or am I better off staying with the Echo Urban fork ?

On the 24"
i'd be running an onza master stem with TrialTech high rise bars.
There will be no need for stackers.
roll the bars forward so they line up with the stem angle you'll be laughing.
Also on the rear of the get a DMR motodigger tyre in 2.35
They have soft sidewalls which allows the bike to feel more bouncy
On the mod
Run the same bars and stem as above with the same set up.

Nope !! Wheels are perfect !
that's cos people are daft and insist on cutting steerer tubes right down, so there is no room for adjustability. and ruins the secondhand fork market. I run 30 mm of stackers under my stem on my mod, and I'm nearly 6ft. nice high front end
Is having high front end better then having it low ?

Hey Guys,
Well after 2 years of giving trials a break I decided to do it full time due to the amazing group of riders I got in my home town.
I managed to pick these two bad boys up. The first a Because simple 24" and the second a Rockman Aurem !! Still getting used to
each of the bikes but I love them !! They still need my own personal tweeks but that will happen over the winter months.
The Rockman Aurem (For those of you that are wondering what is hiding under that black tape. The frame had cracked on the previous owner
and he got it re-welded, for now its super solid. I will be replacing the frame during winter. I have narrowed it down to either the Neon Bow, Rockman Manus 2,
or another Rockman Aurem. If any of you guys have any advice on which frame I should get as a replacement it would be greatly appreciated)

I got a couple of questions for you riders out there !! I have been looking at everyone else's bike and notice barely anyone having stem spacers. My question to you guys is am I over killing
my bikes with stem spacers ?? Should I be running any ?? Please keep in mind I am 6 foot 2.
Is there anything you guys would change to my bikes ?? I have had half a season of trials experience in the past. I would love to properly dial my bikes in for a noob rider like myself.
