What´s your weight? And what pressure do you run in your tires?
Weight: 8,6kg
Tyre pressure: Usually 2 (dont know the measurement, cause in my country we have a different name for it )
-
Ran these tyres before on mine, bloody worst decision I made. Change them and it's a tidy build.
Change to what tyres?
Havent got any problems with them so far.
-
A full build is 9.75kg with standard spec, I reckon this comes in at 9.2.
check this post out, you might understand, what i'm on about.

And the schwalbe table top weighs 572 grams.
looks nice mate how are the sl forks? i was thinking about a set on mine, but decided against it after seeing the bad snap happy rep they have.
couldn't disagree with you more here, i'd say 8.6 is about right his bars, forks and tyres are lighter than yours dude
i'm running tt forks and mine comes in at a tad over 8.7
I'm very pleased with the fork, best one i've had.

You might want to weigh it again, mines a lighter spec and it comes in at 9.1kg.
When I bought this bike new, it came with very heavy kenda kinetics tyres, which I changed to table tops. I lost more than 600g by only changing the tyres! :wink2:

and the adaptor for your bike

dont use a formular brake you will be disapointed. very disapointed
the saint would cost him more as he needs to buy rotor and mount aswell
Yeah, I was thinking of buying these, but because I'm from Europe (Latvia), I use the front brakes with a left hand lever.
Anyway, I got the formulas really cheap and I hope that they will be better than my leaking Echo's.

comparing these pictures, it seems that the rotors are identical. So couldn't there be a way of just simply taking it off?

the front 180mm oneare you buying a front one or rear?
-
as far as I've heard, formulas are considered to be one of the best brakes.I think you're gonna be stuck with buying new rotors, though for the price of the brake I'd consider sending them back and picking up a set of Saints off eBay.
-
So I've ordered these new formula rx1 disc brakes for my echo bike, but the problem is that they come with a centrelock rotor.
Is there a way of convert this or can I just take it off somehow?

how about formula r1?You need something called a Shimano Saint.
:wink2:
-
Yup, the brakes came stock with the bike

So here's my Echo 24" bike. Weighs only 8,6 kg. But after a month without using I noticed that the front disc brake lever was a bit covered in oil.
As far as I know, usually this means trouble. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?
Echo is fabulous! :D
