I will be trying HS33 just to give them a try. Never used them so I don't know what the differences are. Fiance got me a NOS 04 era Tomac HS33 Master cylinder and some slave cylinders. I gotta bleed them and give them a go. Ill use the same pad compound so it will be just determining the difference between v and Hydro

990 handlebar end to floor and 340 bb to floor. 65cm difference I am on a Low (+10) BB stock frame

right now I have v rear and cable disc front. Mainly because I can carry an extra brake cable if roadside repairs are needed. I have been debating on switching to HS33 to give them a try. so then ill have hs rear with a cable didc front

Looks Good cant wait to hear how it goes.

Price sounds perfect. I wish we had used rigs in the US for that kinda price

Looks like a great platform I start with. What's the price

That's about how much those plasma tic CRV pads had

Ok. I have those same exact pads on a small mod with smooth rims we use as a beginner bike to get friends to ride.
That's a good sense of what 70a feels like then. 80 a may be what I am after then. Something a little more resistant for a light grind.

Here's one I was thinking of getting and trying

There is 80a and 85 a polyurethane on eBay in sheets and square blocks in various colors. Has anyone tried these?
I am currently using rockman blues. What is the estimated shore value?

How does it feel and how does it last?

Like stated above. Very beginner edit. Mostly trying out IPhone App

Good show

Sounds like you are off to a solid start. How well do the brakes work that are on that bike?
-
Rear hub does seem more applicable to four plays and street riding. So if you can afford it go for it. If not maybe try some cheapie freewheels in different gear ranges just to get a feel. Then when you find the magic number buy a higher end freewheel in that tooth profile.

I had 22/18 on an Ashton effect. It was way too short. I now have the same gearing on a 26 in bike and like it much better. Just for te reason of changing to echo tr cranks I will be changing to 18/15

Any updates. I just got rocan blue aluminum v brake pad. Can't wait to get them in mail and try them. Just in time for the weather to break here
-
Rock man blues ordered. Can't wait to try them. Do they require a sharp grind or does any grind work?

Very nice to watch. Some big moves and bigger audiences

Ok. I found a shop in the US that has some Coust/sink v pads. Any info about them?

Ok. Don't want to cut material. It's expensive enough as is
