Its looking really good, I cant wait !

I should be able to ride on 18th. If you do it like last time and place all the heavy objects, but have other movable bits that the riders can change then course set up shouldn't be an issue. I spoke to Stan (Tartybikes) and he said he'd go as well.

Possibly yea. I'll have to look into it.
Basically the site is just an instagram plugin and twitter feed plugin, so I'd have to customize the instagram plugin to make it do that.
-
Just a quick post to say that www.cultiv8ed.com has been dragged into the modern age and is getting regular updates via instagram and twitter.
I'm trying to post pics whenever I get out to ride so if you are on twitter/instagram feel free to add us

At the risk of adding too many trialskings videos to the thread, heres one that isn't always posted:
Oh and heres the first cultiv8ed video, from 2002:

You could waft a blowtorch at them to cook them.

I have gigs of old trials videos at home. I'll try to upload some gems later
-
Marin Quake 5 - Ripped the headtube off it. Replacement used as an XC bike (because it was one ) for years, sold to Cap who ripped the headtube off again.
Planet X Zebdi Mk 2 - Cracked the BB welds. Sold the replacement.
1065 Levelboss - Lovely frame, Sold it and is probably still alive
1100 Levelboss - Also indestructible, bit of a barge though. Sold it and is still alive
Inspired Fourplay - Amazing for street, a bit too small for me to do pure trials on. Sold it, was stolen a week later, recovered about a year after that and sold again by 2nd owner...
Zoo Pitbull 2006(?) - Got this 2nd hand off Cap and still use it. People laugh at my "vintage" frame
-
The trials kings - killswitch (the night video) is probably my favourite trials video ever. Its also the reason why I own Killswitch Engages "Alive or just breathing"

Assuming that you have an normal mtb style CK and have taken the cassette lockring off:
Remove the driveshell (and take the axle out) then put it into a vice so that the shell is loose but the vice supports the ring.
Stick some wood on top of the shell to protect the lockring threads then hammer the driveshell downwards.

Awesome, I've always wanted a digital copy of Sprung 3. It got me into riding in general
-
GET2 is old? I still watch Sprung 3 for inspiration :$

Aye i'll go again. I'll just off the trials bike for another year
I'll badger the tarty guys to see if they are going...
(EDIT: did some pre-badgering before I posted this..)
-
Yeah cool, I would think that you could get away cheaper when building it yourself.
But I should go with a 26" ? Since I'm quiet tall, roughly 194 CM.
A 24" is to small ?
I'd say go with something like a 26" echo build from Tarty. A 24" is rideable when ur tall (im 195cm i think), but its a bit cramped for "pure" trials.

Nice vid. Is that in Reykjavik? Whats the trials scene like in Iceland?
-
I saw them building the new pump track when I went the other week. I cant wait for it to open!
-
I used 16:13 when I had a fourplay. I also had a nokian XXX tyre on the rear, super stiff bmx park type of tyre but fairly heavy (over 1kg).
-
Added the preston spots that i can think of in. I will do a few in Liverpool if no one else with better knowledge does
-
I've had a Felt Brink 24" for about a year now and used it for skatepark, street, bmx track. Apart from the rear rim which needed upgrading to something stronger its been great. I got mine for £230 new.
-
That slope to 90deg gap at preston docks was insane. Never seen anyone do that before.

Glad you like the video.
With my bail, my driveside axle bolt washer snapped, meaning my wheel instantly jumped forward which made my chain skip and bang I went over the bars, slamming my shin into the rock, basically ended my ride.
Lies, you hit the rock and your batteries fell out so they had to stop filming while they were reinstalled.

Thanks for that Adam
Givin' it beans!
Had a great ride and only got slightly sunburnt
