Hi, having wanted to get into trials for a little time now I thought i'd sort myself out and start looking into it properly.
I'm living in Leeds and would love to meet up and have a go or get some more information.
Also
I guess I will need a bike. I have read the thread on beginner bikes and agree with it - it's always best to get what you can afford. I am not sure, however what good prices for certain bikes are. I also don't know what bike is right for me but i'm sure a few bikes down the line i'll have an idea - hopefully.
From what I can figure getting a bike that's basically as light and durable as I can afford is the way to go.
But
What are the major differences in tyre size and length of frame (I am not new to bikes just trials) with regards to trial riding, I would imagine I will mostly be learning how to get up on the back wheel and hop for a couple of months with the odd jump off a rock at first so saying that a 26 is better for gaps or thin rails or that a 26 will get you about a foot higher than a 20 may not be of consequence to me at the minute, however, it may as I just don't know. Which is a top reason why I am here, also to meet people and ride.
