Aforementioned trolling in the van. I'm not really one for filming whilst driving, however there's no real way to document this otherwise on a drive to work. 2008 Focus ST. Unhappy driver, likely amused girlfriend.

Here's one if people are bored / understand electricity better than I do (which won't be hard)
I've got a 110ah leisure battery and a power inverter for my van so I can run my Xbox and TV in there of an evening but I'm looking for a solar panel to top up the battery through the day. Will this 100w solar panel be enough to replenish the power I use?
TV is 35ish watts at 12v (figured id get a 12v TV so it's less consumption)
Xbox one S is about 45 watts, but it's at 240v through an inverter. (Not sure if this makes a difference to consumption)
I'll be playing for no more than a couple of hours each week night and the van is always parked outside. So even if the leisure battery was only topped up to 10% less than the day before I would be ok as it has all weekend to recharge to 100%.
Other options are a split charge system from the vans alternator, but that's more hassle and I figured I may learn something from asking about it here first.
Cheers!

I'm trying to learn front wheel moves. Not sure if the easiest trying to get up to front on a high ledge, or trying to gap to front.
Either way, I'm doing it wrong but I can't really feel what. I'm not holding the rear brake as I've read that can make your feet slip off, but I just can't get to grips with the move.
Any advice would be great. I do feel that the area where the front wheel is landing isn't big enough, so next time I try I'll find a big flat ledge.

Oh that's frustrating. I didn't get my valves sorted when I should have, about 9k overdue and it needed 16 valves and an exhaust cam. So they definitely do require the servicing.
That's gutting about the forks but it's sadly all too common! Have you sorted replacements? I actually crashed mine last year and trashed the forks so replaced them with some R forks but they are shocking. I kept popping seals on the stock ohlins forks so I'm going to get some of the Sachs forks from the non factory model and install ohlins cartridges. I'd look into it for yourself, although the bling factor is good.

How are you finding the RSV4? My mate loved his but then it dropped a valve on the warm up laps at a Silverstone trackday, he wasn't that pleased. I can't remember the exact year but his was an early one, they seem to have a lot of engine issues compared to the old V twins.
I love it mate. The early ones did have teething issues, they had a recall as the nut on the end of the crank would undo with time but the aprc ones are all good.
I've done 20k miles on mine now and it's on 40k plus now and I've done all sorts on it. The front end is incredible you can brake so hard and late and it turns exactly where you want it.
They do go through valves like nobody business if left unchecked though.

Amazing!
What were their reasons?
Too slow or just considered unsafe?
Yeah too slow, was a high top LWB transit. Just a mobile chicane, even though he emptied it and was flat out. I did get an invite to Silverstone in November with javelin. If I get some decent wheels on, I'd be tempted!

I'd say vans are more than welcome, especially troll vans like that, haha.
You've gotta book it on a track day, that would be amazing.
Thanks! Will have to dig out some videos.
Yeah I have been tempted. My friend took his van around brands indy but was given a refund at lunch and asked not to continue!

Is this just for cars, or do vans count too? I've got a Vito 120 (3.0 TD V6 from the E class mercs of that era)
The troll factor is high with this. ~280bhp and oodles of torque. Will push along a lot of hot hatches. Quite good fun watching the drivers trying to work out what it is!
It does desperately need some alloys though. ☹️

So I'm struggling with natural riding, I've been getting back into trials doing more street/TGS which I've got to an ok level at, and then I had a crack at natural. I really want to excel in it as I think it gives you better control when you're practicing, but it's really hard for me! Has anyone got any tips? Maybe tyre pressures perhaps? Or some decent videos where I can study it a bit.
Cheers for the help.

I don't understand the question but it sounds like you need a V-adaptor for the forks so your HS33's will fit. The slave cylinders are the same across the board so anything for 2005 onwards should work.
As for bolts, check tartybikes.co.uk they will most likely have Magura specific ones, if not I believe they are a normal M4 Allen bolt.

Not quite to that extent. But he clearly didn't want to leave it without thanking the watchers etc..'Thanks for paying me £X millions BBC but here's what I really think...'

I agree that it's just desserts for Clarkson, however the other two were kind of obliged to follow. Seems as if they were instructed to stick to the script, although it seemed like they wanted to say more, for example thanking for the support and following over the years. Yet I feel this was denied as it's the end of their roles in Top Gear, but not the end of Top Gear itself. Two of the Three presenters over the last decade or so should've got to say what they felt (within reason) after that length of service.

What a dreadful send off! BBC obviously just trying to act as if nothing has happened. Looking forwards to the next format of the show!

I just re-read your first post hahaha. Bummer. Maybe they'll rerun itA TV on a train? Unlikely

Find a TV? It's only on terrestrial

Back on tonight for the final episode in the Clarkson/Hammond/May format; 8PM BBC2. Prepare your tissues!

Pretty lairy, but I guess they all are. Where abouts are you? Maybe Bedford autodrome depending on your driving abilities and confidence? What's oulton park like for a first timer track ?
Thinking of doing a novice day sometime and it is possibly the closest, any other suggestions for a first timer ?

Hmm not sure what to do, reviews on the TR aren't great and the louise looks very bulky. Tempted to just go back to Avid BB7's as they did me no harm last time!

Did a trackday in February, 16c and sunny would you believe. Then got rained off from Oulton Park in March, now going to Nurburgring on the bikes for Easter weekend. Will report back with a POV video of the Nordschleife now I've bought the hero 7 black. Looking forward to seeing how clear it is with the hypersmooth tech.
